Does newspaper photography major need art skills?

Photography major belongs to "art" major. You must take art-related courses after entering school. Such as art foundation, art appreciation, photography technology, photography composition, trick photography, nonlinear editing, advertising photography and so on. The purpose is to cultivate professionals who have the ability of film, television, advertising and photo photography, and can engage in photography art creation, teaching and scientific research in film factories, news units, advertising companies and audio-visual publishing departments.

Taking Beijing Film Academy as an example, the major of "Photography Direction of Photographic Pictures" in the School of Photography is divided into three tests.

The initial test is a written test: the paper is a comprehensive photography test. The written test of the second test is: analysis of picture works.

The third test is interview, which mainly examines the common sense of literary theory, photography theory and cg animation processing knowledge.
