The growth of Li Ziqing

He studied under the older generation of photographers in China, including Zhang Yinquan, Zheng Jingkang, Zhengqing Chen and Yuan Ling. When I was a reporter and editor at Xinhua News Agency, I also engaged in newspaper research and photo criticism appraisal of Xinhua News Agency for a long time. This is a brand-new initiative initiated by Xinhua News Agency for the first time and under his charge, aiming at promoting and guiding photo reporting. His photographic comments are clear, profound and insightful. His paper is unpretentious, imaginative and far-sighted.

In that era when the "Left Wind" prevailed, he took advantage of his work and wrote a book with a clear-cut banner in order to publicize the aesthetic function of landscape photos. To establish the legal status of landscape sketch as a new photography category in China, and to interpret and develop the systematic theory of hazy beauty of photography art, it took a little courage and backbone at that time.

In the 1960s, driven by his dedication, he risked his life many times to go deep into the source of rivers, the desert, Kunlun Mountain, Qilian Mountain and the snow line on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. These inaccessible areas have collected a large number of wildlife photos for the relevant departments of the central government. He is one of the earliest and most animal photographers who photographed plateau wildlife and ecological environment in China. At the same time, he was also one of the first journalists and photographers who devoted themselves to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as the "third-rate" in the world, and made a comprehensive and systematic exploration and report on these isolated virgin lands.

1968, his proposal to establish news photo agencies in various provinces and cities across the country was valued and approved by the relevant central leading departments. Immediately, he led the establishment of "Qinghai News Photo Agency", a brand-new local news photography propaganda agency.

1973 Established a regular official publication "Jiangxi News Pictures" in Jiangxi.

In 1980 and 1983, he was responsible for editing and publishing the trial issue number of Jiangxi Pictorial twice.

1987 and 1997, Jiangxi Photographers Association held two joint exhibitions and solo exhibitions for him, both of which were successful. In particular, the photography art exhibition featuring monotonous tree species-pine trees has opened up a new world of photography and filled the gap in the history of photography in China. He has written 100 more than 800,000 words of photographic review articles, all of which were published in national journals. Published a number of personal photography albums and monographs, which attracted worldwide attention.
