Wadima's Wadima Incident

From May 19 17 to June 10, three shepherds, Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta Marto and Francisco Marto Marto, claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary in the open space outside juster near the Portuguese city of Huadima. They always see her on 13 at about the same time every month. Lucia called Maria "brighter than the sun, and the light beam emitted is brighter and stronger than a crystal cup full of flashing and penetrating sunlight. Lucia said that Maria revealed three secrets to them (Fatima's three secrets). She advised shepherds to save sinners through repentance and sacrifice. Therefore, the shepherd tied a rope around his waist, causing pain and not drinking water on a hot day. More importantly, lucia said that Maria told them to recite the rosary every day, and reiterated many times that rosary is the key to personal and world peace. At that time, many young Portuguese, including the relatives of these shepherds, were fighting in the First World War. After the news of this miracle came out, in the following months, thousands of people flocked to Wadima and outside juster. 1965438+August 2007 13, local governor Artur Santos (who had nothing to do with the shepherd boy) thought that this incident would lead to political unrest, so he detained the shepherd boy before he arrived at the clearing. At that time, the prisoners in the provincial prison said that although the shepherd was very angry, he strengthened other prisoners and led them to recite the scriptures together. Governor Santos interrogated the shepherd boy, mainly to know what the so-called secret was, but failed to get the result. Santos even pretended to prepare a pot of boiled oil, then escorted the shepherds out of the interrogation room one by one, saying that they would be burned to death in the oil, and then forced the remaining shepherds to reveal the secret to prevent the same ending. This month, the shepherd boy said that they didn't see it in the pasture they usually saw, but they saw Maria near it on August 19. 19 1710/October 13 is the last series of1917. About 70 thousand people, including newspaper reporters and photographers, gathered in the pasture because the shepherd boy had previously said that a miracle would happen that day and "let everyone believe" When it rained heavily, but many people present at that time said that the clouds suddenly opened, revealing the sun, which was rotating in the sky like a plate, and emitting various colors of light around. Then the sun suddenly fell from the sky, meandered to the ground, and finally returned to its original position, and people's original wet clothes were completely dry. This event is called "the miracle of the sun". Avilino, a reporter for the newspaper O Século (the most influential newspaper in Portugal at that time, inclined to government policies and opposed religion), reported: "The crowd gathered in accordance with the lesson of the Bible, bareheaded and took off their hats to search the sky. They were surprised to see that the sun began to tremble, and it suddenly began to move strangely in violation of all the rules of the universe-it danced according to everyone's typical impression. Domingos Pinto coelho, an ophthalmologist who wrote for the newspaper Ordem, reported: "The sun is surrounded by red flames, yellow and purple flames. It seems to be spinning fast, and suddenly it seems to fall from the sky, approaching the ground quickly and emitting strong heat. In a special report on 19 17+00, O Dia, a daily newspaper in Lisbon, said ... the silver sun is surrounded by the same dazzling gray light, which seems to rotate in the broken clouds ... The light turns into beautiful blue, which seems to shine on people kneeling, reaching out through the stained glass windows of the cathedral ... seconds seem to be hours and so vivid. At that time, other scientists did not record any movement or other phenomena of the sun. According to other reports, this solar anomaly can be seen 40 kilometers away. In addition to these phenomena, the three shepherds also said that they saw a huge phantom, including the blessing crowd of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. Father Stanley Tan Youming, a scientific historian of the Benedictine Church, believes that the movement of the sun seen by the masses is an illusion caused by the reversal of the atmosphere, but the Shepherd Boys Association predicts that this phenomenon is obviously a sign of a miracle.
