Photographic terminology:

White balance:

White balance is an index to describe the white accuracy of the mixed red, green and blue primary colors in the display.

Key metering:

The key photometry is to measure the area around the center of the picture 1/3. When shooting, the subject is usually placed in the center, which can ensure the correct exposure of the subject and avoid the influence of areas outside the center on the exposure results.

Telephoto lens:

200mm and 300mm are telephoto lenses, which can be used to shoot birds, lotus flowers, moving objects and anything not far away. Therefore, this kind of focal length lens is also called telescopic lens or telephoto lens, which is mostly used to shoot distant scenes.

Standard zoom lens:

A standard zoom lens generally refers to a lens that starts at 24mm or 28mm and ends at 70mm, 85 mm, 105 mm and120 mm. ..

Portrait lens:

A lens with a focal length of 85mm is called a portrait lens, which can have a good background blur effect, a good picture cutting ability, and keep an appropriate "communication" distance from the model. In fact, many focal lengths (55- 135mm) can be used to take portraits. Of course, taking portraits with a focal length of 85mm will look good, especially close-ups.

Macro lens:

Macro lens is usually a lens with a medium focal length, but it can actually be a lens with any focal length. Macro lenses are usually expensive and have excellent picture quality, which is especially suitable for shooting insects.

Medium telephoto zoom lens:

Medium focus lens: the focal length is longer than the standard lens, and the viewing angle range is 40- 18 degrees. Advantages: Under the same working distance, the field of view of the medium focus lens is smaller, and there will be no obvious distortion in imaging. The medium focal length lens is suitable for long-distance shooting.

Ultra telephoto zoom lens:

Ultra-telephoto zoom lens generally refers to the lens starting from 150mm200mm and ending at 500mm and 600mm. This kind of lens is suitable for shooting distant scenery, and it is more common to shoot wild animals.

Photometric determination:

Photometry measures the brightness of the picture and provides exposure parameters. There are three main measurement modes: evaluation measurement, central key measurement and point measurement.

Evaluation photometry:

Evaluation photometry is the most commonly used photometry method, and its photometry logic is to average each area one by one and take the average value as the reasonable exposure value of the whole picture. It is safer for friends who don't know about photometry to choose evaluation photometry.

Noise:

When the ISO setting is too high, small particles will appear in the photos taken.
