Light color distinction

2700K~3200K is yellow, 3200K~5000K is warm white, also called "natural color", 5000K~6500K is called white light, and above 6500K is called cold light. This light source is generally used for outdoor street lamps, factory buildings and front and rear lighting of automobiles. European and American families generally like to use yellow light, which is also widely used in store decoration, museums or galleries, while Asia, especially East Asia, prefers white light, which can be widely used in supermarkets, offices, hospitals and other public places.

Light color refers to the "light source color" or "light color component" of the shooting environment formed by several light sources. In the field of photography, people often use "color temperature" to represent the change of light color components in an environment. Light color determines the overall tone tendency of photos, which is very helpful to express the theme. For example, red is warm, yellow is noble and white is pure.

The phenomenon that polychromatic light is decomposed into monochromatic light to form spectrum is called optical dispersion. Using prism or grating as "dispersion system" can realize dispersion.
