Is it illegal to take pictures in the army?

Legal analysis: the general army has a confidentiality policy, and active servicemen can't just take photos and send them online. When active servicemen usually take photos, the background in the photos and the rank marks on their clothes will be photographed, which is a military base style. If such photos are taken at will and posted online, spies will see through and expose the specific address of military bases and the equipment of active servicemen. In this case, once it is seen by the troops/lawless elements of the hostile country, it is easy to be breached when the troops are attacked from outside. Therefore, active servicemen can't take photos at will, let alone upload photos to the Internet at will.

Legal basis: Article 43 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Military Facilities commits one of the following acts, and the punishment provisions of Article 23 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment shall apply:

(1) illegally entering a military restricted zone or a military administrative zone and refusing to stop it;

(2) refusing to stop activities that endanger the safety and use efficiency of military facilities within the security control range outside the military restricted zone or within a certain distance of military facilities not included in the military restricted zone or the military administrative zone;

(three) in the military airport clearance protection area, do not stop activities that affect flight safety and the efficiency of airport navigation AIDS;

(4) Illegally photographing, videotaping, recording, surveying, measuring, depicting or describing the military restricted zones and military administrative zones, and refusing to stop them;

(5) other acts that disrupt the management order of military restricted zones and military administrative zones and endanger the safety of military facilities, if the circumstances are minor and not serious enough for criminal punishment.

Twenty-third of the "People's Republic of China (PRC) Public Security Administration Punishment Law" has one of the following acts, a warning or a fine of two hundred yuan; If the circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for more than five days and less than ten days, and may be fined up to five hundred yuan:

(1) Disrupting the order of organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions, resulting in work, production, business, medical treatment, teaching and scientific research not being carried out normally, but causing no serious losses;

(2) disturbing the order of stations, ports, docks, airports, shopping malls, parks, exhibition halls or other public places;

(3) disturbing the order on buses, trams, trains, ships, aircraft or other public transport;

(four) illegal interception or forced boarding, boarding motor vehicles, ships, aircraft and other means of transportation, affecting the normal running of vehicles;

(5) disturbing the election order conducted according to law.

Whoever gathers people to commit the acts mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be detained for more than 10 days and less than 15 days, and may also be fined less than 1,000 yuan.
