Han nationality, 1976 was born in Henan. He is the nominal principal, director and consultant of more than 50 schools including Foreign Language Middle School affiliated to Zhengzhou Normal University (formerly Zhengzhou No.77 Middle School) and Pingdingshan No.3 High School. He is currently the chief education expert of Cohen Yulu Education Group.

Yao Kewei was invited to give expert reports or lectures in more than 40 cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. He served as honorary principal, teaching consultant and director of expert committee in more than 50 schools, including Beijing No.79 Middle School, Chongqing No.0/8 Middle School, Zhengzhou No.77 Middle School and Luoyang Experimental Middle School.
