What mode of SLR is suitable for shooting what scene?

There are the following shooting modes commonly used in SLR cameras:

Aperture priority mode: it aims to give priority to the effect of aperture, and can reduce or enlarge aperture shooting. This mode is suitable for shooting portraits, still lifes, landscapes and other photographic subjects that require high depth of field. In this mode, the camera will set the shutter speed according to the brightness of the scene.

Shutter priority mode: designed to give priority to shutter speed. In this mode, the photographer only needs to set the shutter speed, and the camera will automatically set the aperture size. You can shoot a slightly blurred picture with a low-speed shutter, or you can shoot a very clear moving object with a high-speed shutter.

Full manual mode (M mode): The aperture and shutter speed are determined by the photographer, which is basically suitable for all kinds of subjects. This mode requires high professional photography knowledge and technology.

B mode: the extension of M mode, which is generally used for long-time exposure and mainly used for night scene shooting. Because when using other modes, the SLR camera can only set the exposure time of 30 seconds, and the B door is not limited.

Program automatic mode (P mode): This is a relatively primary shooting mode, which is very simple to operate and suitable for various shooting occasions. After selecting the automatic shooting mode of the program, the built-in parameters of the camera will not change, and the parameters such as shutter and aperture are automatically set by the camera, so it is impossible to actively control the imaging effect.

Note: There is also a fully automatic mode (automatic gear). When using this mode, the photographer only needs to compose, focus and press the shutter, which is only suitable for beginners. This mode is compared with P mode: in P mode, you can choose to manually adjust the camera ISO, metering mode, exposure compensation, etc. , but automatic files cannot change the above settings. The SLR using this mode is a fool camera, and it is not recommended for individuals to use the fully automatic mode.
