(1) Han Xin

"Xiao He Chasing Han Xin under the Moon" is the most classic play in China traditional Peking Opera. Han Xin, one of the famous military strategists in the history of China, is a native of Huai 'an. Han Xin made immortal contributions to the establishment of the 3-year-old Han Dynasty, so there are many legends about Han Xin in history, while there are many historical sites in Huai 'an Han Xin, such as Diaoyutai in Han Xin, Han Xin Temple, Wandering Mother Temple, Hip Bridge and "Monument to the Hometown of Han Huaiyin Hou Han Xin", and there are two places in the hometown of Han Hou, one in Chuzhou District and the other in Wharf Town.

He began to be a tribute student in middle age and became a Changxing County Cheng at the age of 6. His experience is quite similar to that of Pu Songling, the author of Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio in the Qing Dynasty. He is a cynical generation of great literati. As a child, Wu Cheng'en liked to listen to stories about the Huai River Water God and the Sangha Sage in his hometown. After middle age, he began to write the story of Tang Priest's Journey to the West in his study day and night, combining the legends of the Tang Dynasty, Buddhist classics, folk stories, Huai 'an local stories, etc., and finally created hundreds of novels, The Journey to the West. As soon as this book came out, it was praised as one of the "four wonderful books" and became a treasure of the world literary world, leaving an extremely precious cultural heritage for people all over the world.

Wu Cheng'en's study is simple and quiet, the wooden carved doors and windows are simple and natural, the lamps and candles on the table are still the same, and the ink and stones are placed in order. It seems that the master was just writing at his desk, but he just went for a walk in the back garden when he was tired of writing. Looking around, it was in this study that the master wrote the upright and naughty Monkey Monkey Wukong, the simple and funny Pig Bajie, the honest and obedient Sand Monk, and the kind and kind Tang priest who was repeatedly deceived by goblins. (3) Guan Tianpei

Guan Tianpei was born in Huai 'an on January 8, 1781. Guan Tianpei, a national hero, was Lin Zexu's right-hand man in banning opium. He died in Humen during the Opium War in 1841, and he was the earliest senior general in China who sacrificed heroically to fight imperialist aggression. In today's Guan Zhong Festival, people can also appreciate the majestic posture of Guan Tianpei in those days.

(4) Zhou Enlai

No.7 Fuma Lane, Chuzhou District, Huai 'an City, a narrow courtyard hidden in the depths of the alley is where the Prime Minister was born. He lived here for 12 years, and spent his childhood and adolescence full of worries about his home and country in the small town of Huai 'an.

Zhou Enlai's former residence * * * has 32 houses connected by things, all of which are not large. They are typical blue brick and small tile wooden bungalows in northern Jiangsu at that time, and they look very simple and natural.
