Chaohu lake 1

Chaohu Lake is located in the middle of Anhui Province, belonging to Hefei, connecting Huaihe River and Tongjiang River. It is 55 kilometers long from east to west and 22 kilometers wide from north to south, with a perennial water area of about 760 square kilometers. Just like a precious mirror embedded in the land of Jianghuai, it is known as the "800-mile lake sky".

2. Sanhe Ancient Town

Sanhe Ancient Town, known as Quezhu, Quewei (Zhu Zhu) and Quean in ancient times, is a famous historical and cultural town in China. Fengle River, Hangbu River and Xiaonan River in the ancient town meet in China and flow eastward from Xinhe to Chaohu Lake, about 15km long.

3. Bao Zheng Cemetery

Bao Zheng Mausoleum, referred to as Baoyuan for short, was built in the seventh year of Jiayou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1063). It is a garden built to commemorate Bao Zheng, a famous minister in the Northern Song Dynasty. Bao Zheng Cemetery covers an area of 30.5 hectares, of which the water area is 15 hectares.

4. Former residence of Li Hongzhang

Li Hongzhang's former residence, also known as Li's former residence, Li's mansion and Li Hongzhang's mansion, is the former residence of Li Hongzhang, a famous official in the late Qing Dynasty, and a typical residential building in Jianghuai area in the late Qing Dynasty.

5. Hefei Wildlife Park

Hefei Wildlife Park is 15km away from the city center, bordering on Huanshan Road in the east and Shushan Forest Park in the west, covering an area of 1530 mu, with an altitude of 50m~90m.

6. Daishan Lake

Daishan Lake has a subtropical climate, warm and humid, with an annual average temperature of 15.7 degrees Celsius, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. The relative height of this area is 20-50 meters, with continuous low hills and gentle slopes.

7. Anhui Museum

Anhui Museum is a provincial-level comprehensive museum integrating nature, history and social education in Anhui Province, covering an area of about 62,000 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of1.6,000 square meters.

8. Huiyuan

Hui Garden covers an area of 20 hectares, and the Northern Anhui Park in the east of Hui Garden adopts the style of royal garden architecture.

9. Hefei Sanguo Ruins Park

The site of Three Kingdoms New Town in Hefei is a key cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province. It is a well-preserved cultural heritage of the Three Kingdoms in Anhui Province and even the whole country, which has important historical value and military research value.
