Is the fog of Apple 14promax camera waterproof?

Apple 14 Pro Max is a waterproof mobile phone. However, the camera fogging is not necessarily caused by waterproof problems.

Camera fogging may be caused by the following reasons:

1. Temperature change: When the mobile phone enters a relatively cold environment from a hot environment, the temperature difference around the camera may lead to the formation of fog. This has nothing to do with the waterproof performance of mobile phones.

2. Humidity: In a high humidity environment, water vapor may condense on the camera surface to form fog. This does not mean that the waterproof function is invalid.

3. Water ingress: Although Apple 14 Pro Max has IP68 waterproof performance, it can stay underwater for up to 30 minutes in 1.5m, and there will be no problems due to slight water ingress during normal use. However, if the mobile phone is underwater under extreme conditions or for a long time, such as exceeding the specified time or depth, the internal seal of the mobile phone may be damaged, resulting in water invading the camera.

If your Apple 14 Pro Max camera is foggy or damp, I suggest you try the following methods:

1. Place the mobile phone in a ventilated and dry environment and let the camera dry naturally.

2. If the problem still exists, you can try to gently dry the area around the camera with an auxiliary tool such as a hair dryer. But please be sure not to use overheated temperature to avoid damaging the phone.

If the above methods can't solve the problem, I suggest you contact Apple customer service or go to a regular Apple authorized repair point for repair.
