1. Let the input box display numbers.

3DMAX is a British product. When it is used on the Chinese platform, the input number cannot be displayed in its number input box, which brings us great trouble. We just need to go into the font folder of Windows and delete the fonts named MS Sans Serif 8, 10, 12, 14,18,24. After restarting Windows, you will be surprised to find that you can display numbers in the number input box of 3DMAX! Note: MS Sans Serif 8, 10, 12, 14,18,24 are English fonts, which are of little use in Chinese Windows, and there will be no problem after deletion.

2. Continue to increase or decrease

In addition to typing the value in the input box or clicking the up and down arrows to input the value, we can also click the up and down arrow buttons to raise or lower the value (fine-tune) or hold down the up arrow or drag it up and down to raise or lower the value continuously. Using Ctrl key to adjust can speed up the numerical change, and using Alt key to adjust can slow down the numerical change.

3. Quickly restore the default values

Sometimes after adjusting a parameter, we feel that it is not as good as the default value, and the default value of the system is forgotten. What do we do at this time, as long as you click the right mouse button on the up and down arrow buttons, you can quickly restore the value to the default value directly.

4. Add and subtract these values

Sometimes, in order to control parameters more accurately, we can add or subtract values from the original data in the input box. As long as we enter r or r in the number, it means adding the input value to the old value (for example, the original value is 30, and the new value is 50 after R20 is entered). Entering r- or R- in the number box means subtracting the input value from the old value (for example, the original value is 30, and the new value is 65438+ after R20 is entered).

5. Don't forget to undo the function.

Sometimes the operation is wrong, and you can't remember the original value by entering the wrong number (you can't return to the default value at this time). What should I do? Don't worry, 3DMAX provides an unlimited number of undo operations (the default setting of the system is 20 steps, which is enough, and users can adjust it by themselves). Most operations in 3DMAX can be undone, and wrong values are no exception. If you make a mistake, please don't forget this powerful function.

6. Right-click the wall you want to penetrate-> Attribute-> Select Visible to Camera in the rendering control options.
