What should I pay attention to when shooting video with a camera?
The method of shooting video clips with a digital camera is very simple: first, set the shooting state to camera mode (see attached figure), then we just need to hold down the shutter of the digital camera by hand, take photos with the LCD color liquid crystal display screen, and then start shooting video clips. If we think this kind of continuous shooting is enough, just release the index finger that presses the shutter and the digital camera will stop recording short videos. When a new scene needs to be recorded, just repeat the operation of "Press the shutter button-Record-Release the shutter to terminate" to record a new video clip again.
Although recording video clips is very simple, you still need to master some precautions and shooting points in order to record ideal dynamic pictures. Let's briefly introduce them respectively.
1. Select the video resolution.
Digital cameras display video clips at consecutive frames per second (usually 30 frames). The resolution of each frame determines the overall clarity of the dynamic picture. Although the resolution of each video image is not high, if the video is played at a speed of 30 frames per second, a short video will have a large file size. Therefore, recording dynamic pictures with a digital camera requires more storage space than shooting a single picture. In order to reduce the number of video files, most digital cameras have compressed storage formats with multiple resolutions and frames per second in the "Video" menu option. Then, when recording animation, you need to choose different video settings with different resolutions and frames per second according to the capacity of the memory card and the length of recording time. For example, if the memory card capacity is limited, or it takes a long time to record animation, you can choose the option of recording fewer frames per second or low resolution. At this time, the definition of the recorded video clip will be low; If you need to record high-definition pictures, you can choose a setting with many frames per second and high resolution, but you need a large memory card, preferably 1-
4GB capacity.
Tip: As long as the video image on the digital camera mode dial is set to ON, and then press the menu key, the LCD screen will display the video menu.
2. Take the word "steady" as the head when shooting.
When shooting video clips, all beginners especially like to zoom in and out. It seems that only in this way can they make full use of the functions provided by the machine and show their high level. Who knows, this is the first taboo of camera shooting. No film and television works are always dangling, and many movies are shot by photographers sitting on guide cars for stability.
At present, some digital cameras can zoom when shooting, while others can't. As an amateur photographer, my skills are not too difficult. It is best not to zoom easily during shooting, and it is the first priority to hold the camera steadily and not shake continuously. If you want to get better shooting results, it is best to use a tripod to stabilize the digital camera before shooting, or put the digital camera on a stable platform to shoot, so that the photographer can also enter the lens.
Tip: When shooting by hand, you should not hold the digital camera too tightly or look for something to support and rely on, and reduce the number of shots while walking.
3. Use spot metering.
Digital cameras perform well when shooting in the forward light, but the shooting function of digital cameras will be poor in the backlight or Gao Fancha environment. At this time, it is suggested to shoot in spot metering mode, and exposure compensation can be considered when appropriate to improve the brightness level, which can obviously improve shooting under backlight illumination.
The quality of video clips.
4. High ISO setting.
The effect of digital camera shooting in dark environment is not good, which can be increased. ISO sensitivity setting to improve shooting effect, such as IS0 400 or IS0 800, will obviously increase noise, but it will not obviously affect the playback effect in video clips.
5. The use of digital zoom.
In order to shoot further scenes, you can turn on the digital zoom function. Digital zoom is like interpolating and enlarging a certain part of an image. Although digital zoom is recommended when shooting still images, it is acceptable for most digital cameras to shoot short videos with more than 5 million pixels, compared with 800,000 pixels.
6. Prepare enough electricity
Recording video clips will consume a lot of electricity and occupy a lot of storage space. So prepare enough batteries and memory cards. Large-capacity memory cards are extremely expensive. If you have a digital companion or laptop, you won't have any worries.
Consider post-production
When digital cameras record video clips, most of them are segmented, the time is 15, 30 seconds and 60 seconds, and the format is AVI, MOV and MPG, so it is very expensive to query and save the clips with the increase of shooting times.
Strong. Photographers are advised to organize regularly, use VCD cutter to delete unsatisfactory parts of integrated video clips, use Adobe Premiere to make transitions and add subtitles, and use Windows Media Encoder to compress the output. The transition between two clips mostly adopts simple forms such as fade-in, fade-out, etc. Don't use too many fancy switches, otherwise the overall effect will be chaotic.
8. Choose the appropriate video format
Video clips taken by digital cameras can only be viewed in a small window on the computer, and the quality will be poor after amplification, but they can be burned into VCD and transferred to TV with VCD machine to enjoy. The resolution of 320x240 can meet the requirements of VCD, as long as you pay attention to the appropriate video format. At present, most mainstream digital cameras are produced by Japanese manufacturers, so it is likely that the default value is NTSC. It is suggested to switch to the PAL system suitable for us, especially those users who finally want to burn it into VCD.
9. Dynamic image output
If you don't need to output the video as VCD, it is suggested to convert the edited video clips into DivX, WMV9, RMVB and other formats, which can not only ensure the image quality, but also occupy less storage space.
