Thirty years ago, Natalie Goldberg published her masterpiece Write My Heart in 1998. Immediately after publication, it became a bestseller list. We all have the right to life, freedom, writing, pursuing happiness and writing. However, writing gives everyone the right, but it scares some people. They are afraid of writing, don't know how to write, and can't write a word. How can ordinary people get rid of their fear of writing and express themselves through writing? I summed up six writing suggestions:
1. Believe in your own thoughts and feelings, I write my heart by hand.
Always believe in your own thoughts and feelings, and don't look around at things other than yourself. I am no longer a pupil. I can say whatever I want. I started writing about my family, because no one would accuse me of being wrong. They are the people I know best in this world. A writer once said, "Believe in love, it will take you where you need to go." I want to add the following sentence: "believe in what you love, stick to it and it will take you where you need to go." Don't worry too much, once you start writing what you want to write, you will eventually get a great sense of security in your heart. Believe in your heart and cultivate confidence in your life experience.
2. Dig out your truest thoughts and overcome the fear of hiding your feelings.
How to dig out your truest thoughts? Before you write, you should write for ten minutes, twenty minutes or an hour, no matter how long. You may want to set a shorter time first, and then increase it a week later, or you may want to bury yourself in writing for an hour the first time. No matter what it is, it is important that no matter how long you choose, you should abide by it and write for a whole time period.
(1) Keep writing with your hands. Don't stop and reread the line you just wrote. It's just stalling and trying to control what you are saying. )

The original idea contains great energy, showing the initial reaction of the mind to something with a flash of light. Writing is the same as running. The more you practice, the better your performance will be. However, if you often run, train your mind to adapt, or ignore the feeling of resistance, you just run and fall in love with running halfway. It is really strange that we never question whether a football team should spend a long time practicing before a game, but when it comes to writing, we rarely give ourselves room to practice.
When writing, don't say "I can write a poem". This mentality will make you stand still. No one can meet the ideal in everything.
Chuang Ba Rinpoche, a master of Tibetan Buddhism, said: "In the face of strong opposition, we must remain open. Although no one encourages us to open our hearts, we still have to open our hearts layer by layer. " The same is true of practicing writing: we must remain open and believe in our own voice and process. The final process is good, the result is good, and you have written a good work.
4. Trust absolutely in the process of practicing calligraphy, and don't be afraid to write nonsense.
Once you start to write like this, that is, express your heart directly, you may have to accept that for a long time to come, what you write will be rubbish, because these rubbish have accumulated for more than ten years, and they are always willing to hide in our hearts and are unwilling to face it. We must face up to our laziness, insecurity and self-pity, fearing that we have nothing to say. It is true that whenever we start to do something new, we often encounter resistance. At this moment, you have the opportunity not to escape, not to be kicked away, but to put these silly voices in black and white, face them and see what they are saying. Once your writing bears fruit from this pile of garbage and compost, the flowers will bloom continuously and steadily. When you don't escape from everything, you will feel that you gradually have artistic stability. If you are not afraid of your inner voice, you will not be afraid of criticism from others. Besides, those voices are just demons guarding the real treasure, and that real treasure is the original idea of the mind.
5. List the topics of writing exercises
Sometimes we sit down to write, but we can't figure out what to write. The blank space on that page may seem unsightly. I have been practicing writing "I can't think of anything to say" for ten minutes. I can't think of anything to say. "It's really annoying. You might as well leave a page in your notebook, and as soon as you think of any writing ideas or topics, write them down on this page. It may be just a sentence you heard, or it may be a moment's memory: grandpa's dentures; How did lilacs smell when you were away last year? When you were eight years old, you wore two-color loafers. Anything is possible. Whenever I think of something, I add it to the topic list. The next time you sit down to write, you can grab a topic from the list and start writing.
The list is beneficial, it will make you pay attention to the writing materials in your daily life everywhere, and your writing will show the relationship between you and life. As the composting process unfolds, your body begins to digest and turn over your materials. So, even if you don't really sit at your desk and write, some of you are still raking the soil, fertilizing, absorbing the heat energy of the sun, and making various preparations for the growth of this dark green plant. The list of topics also helps you to speed up your writing and reduce resistance. Before you list the topics, here are some writing ideas for reference:

Write "leave" as you want. Write about your divorce, leaving home this morning, or your friend dying soon.

Take a book of poetry, open a page at will, grab a line and copy it down, and start writing from this sentence. Every time there is a jam, go back and rewrite the first sentence, and then continue to write.

6. Shut up and sit down and write.
"I don't want to write." I'll write later. I'm too tired. 」

If many characters in your heart want to play, let them play. At the same time, take out your notebook and start writing. You must start writing for 5 minutes. No matter what it says: "What a terrible writer I am x 100 times, I am a despicable person. 1 cried her sister, peed her face at the age of 2, and peeked at menstruation to take a bath at the age of 3 ... "Shut up, sit down and write.
Trying to make yourself write is painful, but writing is simple, basic and demanding. "It's time to say, it's time to go, and it's time to die. Write when you should, and don't let yourself struggle with guilt, accusations and threats of violence.
However, having said that, I still want to tell you a few tips that I used to give myself a little push.
I can't write a word at one time, so I call a literary friend, make an appointment to meet a week later, and then go back to work. I have to write something to her.
