How should a director choose a photographer?

In essence, the relationship between a director and a photographer is often compared to marriage. Their job is to turn an idea, a passionate impulse and a feeling into a concrete and visible form. Whether you work for a big-budget feature film, a TV documentary or a low-budget independent film, one thing is certain, that is, everyone on the crew must try their best to make a good film. Film photography is a process of creation and interpretation. It does not simply record objective events, but takes the originality of original works of art as the highest realm. Cinematography is not a subclass of photography. On the contrary, photography is just one of many techniques used in film photography. This is a visual image created for film photographers. The image of a cinematographer on the screen comes from the artistic vision, imagination and skills cultivated by cinematographers and many artists in the cooperative relationship.
