Muji crater

Look at the pulse of the earth at the Muji crater in Kashi, Xinjiang.

Muji Township, the highest elevation town in Pamirs, is famous for its peculiar scenery at high altitude. Muji is called the "Eye of Pamir" at the intersection of Kunlun Mountain and Tianshan Mountain. Muji is the land of the West Pole under the photographer's lens, the dreamland of ice and fire. There are several craters that were formed 1500 years ago. It is the only crater with the highest altitude in Xinjiang and the most typical crater in the world. Surrounded by plateau wetlands, glaciers, ice lakes and ice caves have also formed.

There is a proverb in MUJI: "Seven beaches, ninety-nine bays, you can't get to the MUJI beach without wearing your ass." Unique geological landforms and colorful colors impact all places that can be touched by vision, and traces of burning historical flames appear in front of us, adding a mystery to southern Xinjiang.
