Photography skills are open to the public
Many themes are still, or at least, under your control. Before pressing the shutter, it may take a long time to compose the composition and decide the exposure. However, this is not the case with most nature photography. The subject moves very fast, so you don't have enough time to make a composition. You must look for opportunities to seize it. Some birds, in particular, are very alert and will run away as soon as they feel your presence. So photographers should not only have skills, but also be good at hiding and tracking.
It's very important to choose bird-shooting equipment. Equipment must be light and suitable for long-distance travel, and cameras and lenses must be easy to track birds. In addition, you need to know how to measure the light in the sky in various situations. In view of these situations, it is ideal to choose a digital camera with motor, aperture priority, spot metering and continuous focusing.
Usually, shooting birds is often limited by the lens. At the same time, you must capture the wings and body movements of birds as fast as possible. Choosing a lens is also important. The ideal lens is as long as possible, light weight and large aperture. Many birds are very small, so they need a large magnification to get a fairly large image.
In order to be light and prevent vibration, telephoto lens is an ideal lens. Light weight, easy focusing and simple operation. The only dissatisfaction is that the aperture is small, with only one aperture value. Due to the heavy weight of the camera lens when using telephoto lens, it takes a long time to shoot birds and the use time of hand-held camera will not be long, so it is best to support the camera on a tripod or a monopod.
Lakeside and seaside, Woods and reservoirs are places where birds often haunt. Before shooting, you should know the birds and places to shoot and grasp the best shooting opportunity. In addition, we should know the influence of season and light on bird shooting, and what kind of light will produce what kind of effect.
How to take a good night view
Theme and composition. Because of the light, many scenery that looks breathtaking during the day will be covered by the night. All we can shoot is colorful lights and colors in the dark night. It can be said that shooting the night scene is actually shooting the characteristic light and color at night. Since it is clear what to shoot at night, we should consider the selection and deletion of scenery and light and shadow in composition. Just like writing an article, you must first determine what your photos should show, and then focus on them by highlighting the center. For other non-central scenery, in order to highlight the key points and emphasize the perfect composition, you can shoot less or not.
2. Keep the camera stable. When shooting at night, the camera needs to be exposed for a long time, sometimes the exposure time may be as long as several seconds or even hours, which requires the camera never to shake, otherwise the captured image may be blurred because of the camera shake. In order to keep the camera stable, the camera should be fixed on a tripod to shoot, and the shutter should be driven by releasing the cable or the camera's self-timer function. When you really need to press the shutter directly, you should also press it as lightly as possible to minimize the machine shaking caused by human factors.
3. exposure. Generally speaking, due to the weak light at night, the exposure time of the camera is naturally longer than that of the general scenery, but like other changeable scenery shooting, the exposure time should be controlled according to the light situation and the specific composition of the scenery. In this respect, digital camera has incomparable advantages over traditional cameras, because it has the function of real-time preview of LCD screen and is not afraid of wasting film. In actual shooting, we can first set a set of aperture and shutter speed that we think is suitable for shooting, and then preview it directly. If the image is overexposed (too bright), we can reduce the shutter speed or aperture appropriately. If the exposure is insufficient (too dark), we can appropriately extend the exposure time or increase the aperture until we get a satisfactory image effect.
4. Adjustment of focal length and aperture. Like other photography, night photography also needs to highlight the theme. When shooting panoramic pictures, it is necessary to get the maximum depth of field as much as possible, so that the far and near scenes can get clear images. When shooting a large-scale night scene, we can adjust the focal length of the lens a little farther. By using hyperfocal distance, we can get enough depth of field to make the whole picture look patchy and three-dimensional. Aperture is also very important in shooting night scenes. Although we can get enough luminous flux by extending the exposure time, it is definitely not that the smaller the aperture, the better. Due to the differences of various digital cameras, the lenses equipped with them generally have a so-called optimal aperture coefficient, which is about 4-5 orders of the maximum aperture of the lens. Take the lens with the maximum aperture of F3.5 as an example, the best aperture is mostly F5.6-F8, while the best aperture and the best aperture are mostly F8.
5. Use of flash. Some friends also like to use flash when shooting night scenes. In fact, many times, it is unnecessary to use flash, because as long as the flash is on, it will more or less destroy the beauty of the night and make the image tend to be mediocre. Therefore, as long as enough exposure time can be guaranteed, I personally think it is better to use less flash.
How to deepen the color of sunset glow
Photographers often see many sunset photos in red. In fact, one way to achieve this exaggerated effect is to use a filter, and the other way is to set the white balance of the camera to cloudy mode, which can further deepen the color of the sunset glow.
How to shoot fireworks
Photographers must install tripods when shooting fireworks, which can help you prevent image jitter. Before shooting fireworks, you should first conceive the composition of the photo and determine the position of the photo, and then fix the camera with a tripod. When shooting fireworks, it is best to use manual mode and then focus to infinity. Fireworks need to be exposed for a long time. Photographers can adjust the camera sensitivity to 100, and the appropriate aperture is between F8 and F8-f16. Of course, the photographer can also set the B shutter to the speed selected by the shutter. Generally, the shooting time of small fireworks is about 0.5- 1 second, and the time required for large fireworks is 3-4 seconds. At this time, the photographer can adjust the shutter speed by himself to save shooting time.
How to shoot flowers with black or white background on location?
Photographers will find that the background of many flower photography is black or white. Although this effect can be achieved by using a specific black and white background indoors, it can also be handled by Photoshop. In fact, in the complex environment of nature, the camera can also achieve this effect.
If you want to get a picture of a flower with a black background, you should take the flower with sufficient light as the main body and set the exposure value with the flower as the center, so that the background in the dark with insufficient light will naturally be darker than the main body.
If you want to get a white background, then you should use the sky as the background, use backlight composition, and appropriately increase exposure compensation, so it is easy to get a white background.
How to make the blue sky brighter
1. Pay attention to the use of light. The formation of blue sky is regular. The sky illuminated by sunlight is the bluest, followed by side light, and the backlight is white. Therefore, the color saturation of the blue sky photographed from the perspective of sunlight is quite high, especially the sky above the photographer's head is particularly saturated and bright. Pay attention to the angle in photography practice, and generally you can get a brighter blue sky.
2. Use a polarizer. Polarizers, also called polarizers, are used in sidelight positions. When rotated to a certain angle, polarized light in the air can be eliminated, thus improving the saturation of blue, but it has little significance in backlight or front light. However, when using polarizers, it is best to choose polarizers with higher quality, so as not to affect the imaging quality. In addition, the exposure compensation of 1-2 will generally increase after adding a polarizer, so you should pay attention to shooting with a telephoto lens without a tripod. It is not recommended to use too low shutter speed to avoid camera shake affecting the imaging quality.
3. Choose the right weather. In fact, the color of the blue sky is closely related to the clarity of the sky. The reason why the blue sky saturation in rural mountainous areas is particularly good is related to the good local environment. At present, shooting in big cities, if you choose to shoot after rain, the color of the sky will be particularly satisfactory.
4. Use contrast. From the perspective of artistic expression, the charm of the blue sky can also be increased by contrast. For example, adding some yellow leaves or buildings to a large area of blue sky can make the blue sky more eye-catching and have more visual impact because of the complementary colors.
5. Pay attention to exposure control. Accurate exposure can get ideal color reproduction, but in some cases, when the blue sky color needs to be increased, the exposure can be reduced appropriately. For example, if the exposure of 1/3- 1/2 file is appropriately reduced when using color reversal films or digital cameras, the color of the blue sky will be more intense. Of course, it should be considered comprehensively in the specific implementation. If other important content in the picture will be obviously affected, it is not appropriate to attend to one thing and lose another.
How to shoot lotus flowers?
The best lens for shooting lotus flowers is a medium telephoto lens of 70-200mm. In addition, when shooting, the photographer had better wear a hood and tripod, which is beneficial to the clear picture quality. In the choice of lotus flowers, photographers should pay attention to the bud in bud, blooming flower and falling flower shape. Of course, it is a good way for photographers to highlight the subject by controlling the depth of field, or to set it off with lotus leaves.
How to shoot the moon well
(1) Use M file when shooting, because it is easier to control the exposure. Observe whether the moon is bright and white through the photos taken. If it is, reduce the exposure by increasing the shutter speed or reducing the aperture until you can get an enlarged photo of the lunar crater.
⑵ Use telephoto when shooting. As long as your focal length is long enough, you can get a bigger picture of the moon. It is recommended to use telephoto or ultra-telephoto lenses.
(3) Use a tripod when shooting, because the focal length is too long, and the hand-held camera will be blurred as long as it is slightly shaken. Therefore, you must use a tripod to keep the camera stable.
(4) If you can focus manually, you can adjust it to infinity. If you can focus automatically, you can focus on the moon, which is not difficult.
Shooting sunrise and sunset, using reflection skillfully
Shooting the reflection of the water surface will add a lot of color to the photos of sunrise and sunset, and a calm sea surface or lake can reflect the scenery in the sky. It presents a mirror-like image, which is always disturbed by the breeze blowing over the water. Leave more dazzling light on the water, and draw a light path from the horizon to the foreground of the picture. When the sun goes down, this light path will extend to your eyes.
How to make flowers and plants more colorful
When we shoot flowers and plants, although we feel the same as shooting people, we still have to turn down the EV in most cases. Why?
Because flowers and plants are gorgeous, if exposed according to standard EV, details may be lost. In order to keep more details and increase the texture of flowers and plants, it will have a good effect to reduce EV appropriately.
