With the theme of "intelligence, green, innovation and application", this Expo is divided into three sections: exhibition, trade negotiation and conference forum. It is dedicated to promoting the cultivation and development of emerging industries, promoting the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, and building a win-win platform for domestic and foreign equipment manufacturing enterprises. This exhibition attracted nearly 400 enterprises from 15 provinces (cities, districts) and 9 countries and regions such as the United States, Germany, Japan and Italy, with an exhibition area of over 40,000 square meters, attracting nearly 30,000 people to visit and purchase.

Compared with previous years, the number of well-known exhibitors in this exhibition has increased significantly, and the highlights of the exhibition have become more prominent. The exhibition attracted well-known enterprises including Haier, Huawei, China Telecom, SAP, Demag, CITIC, Liansheng, Jack, Kawakami, Brother, Yongchuang Intelligent, Hangcha and Epson, including nearly 100 Fortune 500 companies, leading enterprises at home and abroad and listed companies.

There are more than ten provinces and cities from Jiangsu, Fujian, Hunan, Anhui and Guangdong, as well as economic and trade delegations and related institutions from more than 20 countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Russia, Mexico, Ukraine, Pakistan, Yemen, Bangladesh and Peru, and more than 70 domestic and foreign procurement delegations. More than 60 trade associations from machinery manufacturing, molds, auto parts, home textiles, clothing, accessories, toys, luggage, advertising and other industries were invited to visit. The on-site exhibition was enthusiastic, and preliminary statistics showed that more than 800 intent agreements and orders were reached.

The main forum of this Expo is China (Yiwu) Digital Economy Development and Innovation Application Forum. Mr. Mao Guanglie, former deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress Committee and director of Zhejiang Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee, was specially invited to give a keynote speech, and SAP, Huawei, Haier and other world top 500 enterprises and leading enterprises in the industry made special presentations. During the forum, China Industrial Internet Research Institute, Yiwu Municipal People's Government and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products signed a strategic cooperation agreement on "Promoting the Innovation and Development of Industrial Internet".

In addition, the exhibition also held a seminar on new products, new technologies and new trends in sewing machinery industry, a 2020 design-driven industry summit forum, a special session on science and technology docking and a centralized signing ceremony for "unveiling", a vocational skill competition in mold manufacturing industry, and a seminar on comprehensive management of water environment in the Yangtze River Delta in 2020, focusing on the "One Belt, One Road" procurement matchmaking meeting for key countries with digital economy and industrial interconnection.

In addition, this Expo focused on creating five cloud service scenarios, namely, cloud live broadcast, cloud presentation, cloud news, cloud photography and cloud platform, which provided a platform for cooperation and exchange between exhibitors and buyers.
