How to use C4D and PS to model and render metal balls? Method of Modeling and Rendering Metal Ball with C4D and PS
A course of modeling and rendering metal balls with C4D and PS;
1. Open C4D, create a new sphere and adjust the radius. Click-Motion Graphics-Clone and place the sphere in the clone. Select the clone and click-Motion Graph-Effector-Random. Select the clone, and the patterns in the object are arranged in a grid.
2. Create a new molten ball, select Random, change the XYZ axes in the parameters to -84, 85 and 30, select scaling, select equal proportion, and change the scaling to 1.64. Select the molten ball, and the editor subdivision in the object is changed to 4, and the renderer subdivision is changed to 10. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag to copy the molten ball. Select clone. The number in the object is changed to 1, 6 and 4 respectively, and the XYZ axis in the parameter is changed to -84, 130 and -30. Check the zoom and check.
Zoom, the zoom is changed to 1.69.
3. Create a new shader, cancel the color and reflection, and check the glow. Select-Texture-Load Graphics and select the prepared background image. Create a new sky and give it a material.
4. Create a new material ball, cancel the color, add GGX to the reflection, use Fresnel as the conductor, preset the roughness of aluminum as 10%, and give the material to the molten ball. Ctrl+R rendering to see the effect.
5. Create a new ground, select two molten ball Alt+G groups, drag them up, and right-click to select-Cinema 4Tab-Composite to cancel the camera visibility. Hide the ground and adjust the position of the molten ball. Create a new plane, rotate it and reposition it. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag to copy one. Divide two planes. Right-click and select -CINEMA4D Tag-Composite to cancel camera visibility.
6. Create a new material ball, cancel the reflection, change the color to blue, check the light, the light color is light blue and the brightness is 50%. Give the material to the plane and hide the plane. Render to see the effect.
7. Adjust the plane position. Click Render Settings and choose-Effects-Global Lighting. The default is indoor-preview (,small light source). Anti-aliasing changed to best. Adjust the angle of the molten ball.
8. New lights, new cameras and position adjustment. Select the light, change the attenuation in the detail to the reciprocal square, scale the tool, and reduce the light. Under normal circumstances, the light color is changed to orange, and the position is adjusted. Drag and copy several lights, adjust them to different colors and put them around the molten ball. Add the composite label to the molten ball and check Enable 1 in the object cache. Click Render Settings, select Multichannel, and then right-click Add Object Cache. Render. Save in TIFF format.
9. Open Ps and import the file. Select the channel, hold down the Ctrl key and click the thumbnail to bring up the object cache 1 selection. Ctrl+J copy the layer and create a new exposure layer. The gray coefficient was revised to 1.23, and the exposure was 0.39. The specific parameters for creating a new optional color layer are shown in the figure.

14.Alt+G group, create a new gradient layer and adjust the relationship between light and shade. The Gradient tool pulls the gradient to adjust the light-shade relationship. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E Poke the layer, click-Filter-Other-Gao Fancha to keep, and the blending mode is superposition to create a new hue/saturation layer. Specific parameters are shown in the figure.
15. The final effect is shown in the figure.
