Xi 'an Qujiang Aquarium, located in the provincial development zone, is the core tourist scenic park planned for Xi 'an Qujiang New District.

"Xi 'an Qujiang Aquarium" is the first phase of Xi's key construction project "Xi 'an Qujiang Ocean World". It consists of four halls and eight areas, namely Dolphin Performance Hall, Ocean Science Museum, Tropical Rainforest Hall and Cross-Harbour Tunnel Hall, and eight areas, including entrance area, popular science area, rainforest experience area, undersea experience area, central performing arts area, consumer service area, undersea grand view area and equipment area.

"Xi 'an Qujiang Aquarium" is located in the core tourist scenic park planned by Xi 'an Qujiang New District, a provincial development zone. It is adjacent to the famous Wild Goose Pagoda in the west, facing the large-scale theme park Datang Furong Garden, which reproduces the royal gardens in the southern Tang Dynasty, across the river, and complements the cultural relics and human landscapes such as Qujiang Nanhu and Hanyao, with outstanding location advantages.

Introduction of scenic spots

The supporting projects outside the museum include performing arts square, water landscape, business, catering, leisure and entertainment facilities, covering an area of nearly 30,000 square meters. Aquarium is the core project of Qujiang Sea World Project. The aquarium has a total water volume of about 6,000 tons, and is designed to cultivate more than 300 kinds of fresh water and marine life, with the number exceeding 12000.

The museum is mainly composed of five parts: Dolphin Performance Hall, Ocean Science Hall, Tropical Rainforest Hall, Cross-Harbour Tunnel and Underwater Grand View Garden, as well as supporting service facilities such as catering, ocean gift retail and interactive entertainment projects. The appearance and exhibition creativity of the Aquarium are designed by Landmark Company of the United States, and the specific design of the architecture and exhibition content is undertaken by Hong Kong Ruiya Theme Design Company, which ranks among the top five in China Aquarium in terms of scale and exhibition level.
