Can the dental insurance card be reimbursed?

Dental medical insurance can only reimburse part of dentistry.

The expenses of dental treatment related to tooth filling, tooth extraction, periodontal treatment and gingivitis can be reimbursed by medical insurance, and the treatment at the designated dental clinic of medical insurance belongs to the scope of medical insurance. When seeking medical treatment, show the medical insurance card to prove the identity of the insured. At the time of checkout, the part that should be paid by the individual can be paid directly by the medical insurance card. If hospitalization needs to be reimbursed, it will be reimbursed only after reaching the local deductible line. The medical insurance card can reimburse the following items:

1. Stereotactic radiation device using X-ray computed tomography device;

2. Cardiac and angiographic machines;

3. Nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment;

4. Single photon emission computer scanning device;

5, color Doppler, medical linear accelerator and other large medical equipment for inspection of medical projects.

Article 28

Medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.

Article 29

The medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by social insurance agencies, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
