APP with good filtering effect

The filter of VSCOcam should be the best on the iOS platform I have seen so far.

My own common filters:

C series filters will make the picture green, which can highlight the original green. In addition, blue sky +C 1 can generate a color similar to turquoise.

A6, very clean filter.

F2 will make the picture blue. Suitable for photos that are already blue.

G series filters can make pictures red. In particular, real red is needed.

VSCO also has many black and white filters.

This B4 is exposed at the bottom at the same time.

VSCO should be able to meet more than 90% of the filter requirements. For more photos with VSCO, please check my Instagram or Lofter(lithium42).

However, there are several other applications worth mentioning.

2.Snapseed

Snapseed is an excellent post-APP, such as atmosphere, details, HDR performance of details, rare selective adjustments on iOS and so on.

But the filter sucks.

The main reason is that the simulation film is too rough and the effect is too heavy. I really don't like this aesthetic.

What I can accept now is Vintage's style6 and style7 filters, but they can only be used in photos with big blue sky. As for Grunge and Retrolux, they are almost never used.

3.Mextures

Both Mextures and VSCOcam are very literary, but Mextures belongs to heavy taste+dark literature.

Mextures provides two filter editing modes. One is texture, a layer similar to Photoshop. Provide gradient, graininess, scratches, light leakage, garbage and other effects (Chinese seems to have no suitable translation, garbage means "a delicate untidy and uncoordinated fashion style"). Another formula is the superposition of layers adjusted by others.

Mextures are more suitable for photos with strong emotions or poor lighting, such as at night.

The photos of Mextures all look dirty.

Not suitable for normal photos, such as sunny scenery, syrup-style portraits, food photos (unless it is dark cooking).

4.Adobe Photoshop Express

Adobe is very personalized about the filter of this application. The dramatic change of color is similar to the style filter in the PS desktop version.

For example, dream's soft light effect.

The negative effect of inversion changes the color into complementary color (red → cyan; Green → magenta;

Blue → yellow).

This picture uses negative film first, then G filter in VSCOcam.

5.pixl express+

Finally, the filter of this APP is also very bad. Its advantage is not a filter.

However, it provides some unique effects.

This one is stylized → striped, and the effect is somewhat similar to Seurat's stippling.
