The topic of my speech is: Reading is a science.

Human life is limited, so how can we make the limited life full and rich? The answer is simple, that is reading. Life is a process of accumulation. You can go to Wan Li Road or thousands of books, but reading is also a science.

First of all: We should make it clear that reading is good.

Because reading can let us know the world of truth, goodness and beauty, and let us gradually become noble, pure and powerful.

Goethe said: reading a good book is talking to many noble people. Reading makes us realize the true meaning of life from the advice of wise men, the lofty realm and noble feelings from the life records of great men, and find the strength and will to fight against fate from the stories of heroes!

Then: we are required to read more books.

We have known since childhood that there is a golden house and a charming woman in the book, and there is Yan Ruyu in the book. Reading more books can make us more modest and wise.

It can keep people away from loneliness and improve their ideological realm. Sometimes when reading a book, the more I feel I don't understand, the more I understand. Please don't be pessimistic. First of all, learn to choose when reading. My grandfather once said: If you read a good book, you are a good teacher and a good friend.

Students, do you know when World Reading Day is? It's tomorrow, April 23rd. 1995, UNESCO declared April 23rd as World Reading Day, calling on people scattered all over the world, regardless of age, wealth, illness or health, to enjoy reading, to respect and thank the literary, cultural and scientific masters who have made great contributions to human civilization and to protect intellectual property rights. Therefore, on April 23rd every year, people from five continents will do the same thing to read books.

Reading can bring us happiness, make the world full of care, help us find our self-esteem and make us full of confidence. Reading can make you own the whole world. Life can't be without reading, and life without reading can't be called a perfect life. Reading is a happy, cheerful, wonderful and noble life.
