What does BUG mean?

Program error (English: Bug) is a term in programming, which refers to the abnormal function, crash, data loss, abnormal interruption and other phenomena caused by the error of the program itself in the process of software running. Some program errors will cause computer security risks, which are called vulnerabilities.

Some interesting hidden mistakes can sometimes become a pleasure. In computer games, some hidden mistakes, if they don't cause big mistakes in the game, often become a secret skill when playing the game (secret skills are sometimes deliberately created by game designers to check the program design and bypass unnecessary steps to directly check the code used when necessary).

Extended data:

1September 9, 947, Grace Hopper found this bug on the first computer. When working on Mark II's computer, the whole team couldn't figure out why the computer didn't work properly. After digging deeply, it was found that a moth accidentally flew into the computer, which led to the failure.

The team eliminated the error and recorded the event in the log. Therefore, people gradually began to use "Bug" (originally meaning "bug") to refer to the hidden errors in computers. This manuscript can still be seen at the National Museum of American History in Washington.

Bug is used to refer to an engineering error. This usage appeared in about1870s, and existed long before computers appeared. The earliest evidence found so far is Edison's letter 1878.

All my inventions are like this. The first step is intuition, accompanied by an outbreak, and then difficulties appear-this thing is exhausted, and then "mistakes"-such small mistakes and difficulties are called-appear. Before business success or failure, months of intensive observation, research and labor are essential.

The Chinese translation is as follows:

All my inventions are like this. The first step is intuition, then a flash of inspiration, then difficulties-this happens, and then "bugs"-the so-called tiny mistakes and difficulties-are revealed. A few months of close attention, research and labor are necessary, and then the success or failure of the business can be clearly realized.
