I want to install a computer myself and do post-processing of digital photos. How to choose hardware?

The quality of the processor directly affects the speed of the image processing software. At least it should be dual-core, and a higher configuration is better.

The memory should reach 4G or even higher. Although the 32-bit operating system does not support more than 4G, if part of the memory is set as a virtual hard disk, the speed of image processing will be obviously improved.

Discrete graphics cards need not be too high unless large games are considered. As far as ordinary graphics cards are concerned (the price is too high, regardless of the professional graphics cards of graphics workstations), ATI(AMD) graphics cards are slightly better than NVIDIA (the difference is not big). The built-in integrated graphics card has the worst effect.

Display is one of the keys to image processing, and the one with large screen width and color gamut is better. Because most pictures are 3:2 or even 4:3, in fact, the format utilization ratio of 16: 10 is higher than that of 16:9.
