Geographical location of Wuyuan

On June 22nd, 20 13 (the year of Qiuci), Hani Terrace in Yuanyang was successfully listed in the World Heritage List at the 37th World Heritage Conference, becoming the 45th World Heritage Site in China, making China the second largest world heritage country after Italy.

Longji Terrace in Guangxi was built in the Yuan Dynasty and completed in the early Qing Dynasty. It is built on a mountain, with an altitude ranging from 300m to1100m. Because the mountain is too steep, the largest field is only one mu, and most of the fields are broken fields that can only grow one or two rows of grass, such as "taking mountains" and "frog leaping three fields" in early spring. The terraced fields are often entangled in clouds, and farmers begin to irrigate the terraced fields to raise seedlings. The whole terrace is full of vitality. Early spring is the best viewing period of Longji terraced fields, and Gongcheng, the hometown of peach blossoms, will also welcome the annual Peach Blossom Festival. Ocean Hua Ting

Yuanyang Terrace, located at the southern foot of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province, is a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation by Hani people. The terraced fields cultivated in the mountains for thousands of years span the four counties of Honghe, Yuanyang, Lu Chun and Jinping on the south bank of Honghe.
