Spring is the time to enjoy apricot flowers.

I am no stranger to Shili Xinghua Village, Maji, Yizhuang Town. Opposite is the Cuihezhuang Reservoir, which has been renamed Lvliang Lake.

Many years ago, I ran to Cuihezhuang Reservoir alone and wandered around the reservoir. When I turned to the east bank of the reservoir along the river bank, I suddenly found this forest and sea of flowers. I stared as if I had discovered a new continent. The big signboard of "Shili Xinghua Village" stands impressively on the boulder, and the surrounding fields are empty. The mountain wind blew with the smell of the lake, and my heart suddenly relaxed.

I am very excited and overjoyed to climb to the top of the mountain which is not high in the north. At that time, it was not as famous as it is now, nor on such a large scale. Small pear trees are also planted with vegetables and crops such as sweet potatoes and peppers. Perhaps because she is in a remote village, she is like a veiled village girl, and few people patronize her unpretentious face. This is a quiet and beautiful natural pastoral scenery. Since then, it has become a good place for me to come here every year to enjoy flowers and see the scenery.

Last autumn, as the "host", I strongly invited three or two close friends who had lived in the city for a long time to come to Shili Xinghua Village again and recommend this beautiful place to them. At this time, the viewing corridor on the east bank of the lake is being renovated and widened, leaving several old tree pits that have been cut down. The fresh breath of the land makes several friends from the city very happy. There are many small red peppers missed by the villagers on the pepper trees on the roadside, which makes one of my girlfriends want to pick them. I laughed at her for being so "petty" and my girlfriend smiled indifferently. We walked along the field path to the ground. At this time, an old couple are trying to grow sweet potatoes. Sweet potato is red and hard. I asked the old couple if they would sell it to us. Seeing our curiosity and love, the old couple are also happy to sell us sweet potatoes. Like picking up a treasure, we packed the sweet potatoes they had worked so hard to dig out in a basket, carried them out of the potholed mountains, put them in the backup car, and went home one song at a time.

This spring, I came to Shili Xinghua Village again. In mid-March, it is the apricot blossom period. Due to the epidemic, the number of visitors is limited, but I still feel the enthusiasm of tourists. At every intersection in the village, there is a check card point. The inspectors take their temperature, and the loudspeakers shout about the epidemic prevention of wearing masks.

Next to the blooming Shili Xinglin, across the road to the west is the sparkling Lvliang Lake, with mountains, water and flowers. The natural ecological environment is so natural and pure, so I want to be happy here like apricot flowers every year.

Speaking of it, Gumaji Village was originally a barren field, and the planting scale of Xinglin was also a way developed through years of accumulation and exploration. In recent years, this "Shili Xinghua Village" has become a happy village, which is connected with the old Yellow River, 10,000 mu of Lvliang Lake, 10,000 mu of rapeseed and 1,000 mu of lotus pond, bringing people pastoral scenery.

Flowers have been enjoyed in March, and we will pick golden apricots in May and enjoy autumn leaves in September.
