Before the National Day, Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, Danxia in Zhangye, Gansu, Tulou in Fujian, Jiankou Great Wall in Beijing, Huangling in Wuyuan, Jiangxi, Jiuqu Yellow River in Ruoergai, Sichuan, Xiapu tidal flats in Fujian, Shahu Lake in Ningxia, and Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, Guangdong 10 scenic spots including Longji Rice Terraces in Guangxi were selected as the most beautiful aerial photography destinations in China.

Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan is a national key scenic spot and one of the first batch of national 5a-level tourist attractions. It is located at the junction of Sangzhi County and Cili County in the middle section of the Wulingyuan Mountains in northwest Hunan Province, and belongs to Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie City. It consists of four parts: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and National Geopark, Suoxiyu, Tianzi Mountain and Yangjiajie. The total area is 369 square kilometers, of which the central scenic area covers an area of ??264 square kilometers. It is a sandstone peak forest landform known for its peaks, valleys, water, forests and caves.

The unique quartz sandstone peak forest in Wulingyuan is rare both at home and abroad, and is known as the "Three Thousand Strange Peaks". In the core scenic area of ??217.2 square kilometers, there are 3103 quartz sandstone peaks. The peaks are distributed at an altitude of 500-1100 meters, with heights ranging from tens of meters to 400 meters. The shapes of the peak forest are like humans, gods, immortals, birds, beasts, and objects, and they are endlessly varied. These abrupt rock walls and peaks stretch for thousands of hectares. Whenever it clears up after the rain or continues to rain continuously, the clouds and mist in the valley linger among the mountains. The sea of ??clouds is sometimes thick and sometimes light, and the stone peaks are looming, and the scene is ever-changing.

The Wulingyuan water flows around the mountain and is known as the "Eight Hundred Beautiful Waters". The numerous waterfalls, springs, streams, pools and lakes are each unique in their own way. Jinbian River is a stream more than ten kilometers long. You can walk along the stream from Zhangjiajie to Suoxi Valley. The peaks and forests on both sides of the bank face each other and reflect in the stream, giving it a unique flavor.

The caves in Wulingyuan are large in number, large in scale and full of characteristics. There are more than 40 large and small karst caves that have been discovered, the most famous of which is Huanglong Cave, which is 7.5 kilometers long. The cave is divided into four layers and has a strange landscape. It is the epitome of the karst landscape in Southeast Asia.

The weather in Wulingyuan is varied in spring, summer, autumn and winter, cloudy and sunny, morning and evening. Clouds and mists are the most common meteorological wonders in Wulingyuan, with five forms: clouds, sea of ??clouds, cloud waves, cloud waterfalls and clouds. At the beginning of the day after the rain, there is first a heavy fog, and then it turns into white clouds, misty and floating, and the peaks appear and disappear in the boundless sea of ??clouds, such as Penglai Island and Yuyu Qionglou. The sea of ??clouds rose over the top of the peak, and then rolled down with overwhelming momentum, turning into a cloud waterfall, which was spectacular.
