About Edison’s life experience? (brief summary)
In 1854, the Edison family moved away from Milan and moved to Fort Gratiot in the northern suburbs of Port Huron, Michigan to start a new life.
In 1855, he started school. After only three months, he was kicked out of school by the teacher as an "imbecile".
Between 1864 and 1867, Edison worked as a telegraph operator in the United States, leading a vagabond life with no security. During this period, Edison changed ten working places, was dismissed five times, and five other times. The second time was to resign by myself.
At the end of 1868, Edison came to Boston as a telegraph operator. In the same year, he obtained his first invention patent, which was a device for automatically recording the number of votes, also known as a "vote counter."
In October 1869, Edison and Franklin Pope jointly founded the "Pope-Edison" company, which specialized in scientific instruments for electrical engineering. At the same time, they invented the ordinary printing press.
In 1877, Edison improved the early telephone invented by Alexander Bell and put it into practical use, and soon opened a telephone company.
In September 1878, Edison began to study electric lights. However, due to Edison's financial problems, he had to find financial support, so he established a joint-stock company to provide financial support for the experiment. Soon Lorre found several shareholders. They were willing to pay for Edison's research into electric light.
On October 21, 1879, the electric lamp was successfully developed. He tried nearly 1,600 materials for testing. It took 45 hours of continuous use before the filament of the electric lamp burned out.
In 1881, at the Paris World's Fair, Edison exhibited a power generation equipment weighing 27 tons and capable of lighting 1,200 electric lamps.
Extended information
1. The phonograph was born in 1877. The person who invented the phonograph in the world was Thomas Alva Edison, the world-famous inventor. Thomas Alva Edison experimented with a short needle based on the phenomenon that the diaphragm in the telephone microphone would vibrate with the sound of speech, and got great inspiration from it. The speed of speaking can cause the short needle to vibrate in different ways.
2. In 1889, Edison in the United States invented a camera. This camera uses a pointed gear to drive a 19 mm wide unpunched tape. Under the control of a ratchet, it drives the tape to move intermittently while punching holes.
This kind of camera is driven by a motor, and the shutter shaft is linked to a phonograph. The phonograph records the sound when the camera is running. On this basis, another movable camera was invented.

(5) In the summer of 1884, Mary Stilwell contracted typhoid fever. At first, she thought she just had a cold and that she would be fine after taking a few medicines. Therefore, Edison, who was working hard in New York, did not visit her. Mary's sister Alice and the doctors tried their best to take care of her every day and stayed by her bedside.
Soon, Mary's condition worsened, and Mary's hopes of recovery were dashed. In the early morning of August 9, 1884, Mary Stilwell died due to ineffective treatment of a brain tumor.
