Brief introduction of food modeling
The food modeling profession originated in Europe and America. At present, with the development and subdivision of the food advertising industry in China, the work previously done by chefs or photographers "part-time" can no longer meet the current needs of the industry. Therefore, the domestic demand for professional food stylist is increasingly prominent.
The job of a food stylist aims to present the most perfect and attractive side of food in front of the camera by cooperating with photographers and cameramen through conventional and unconventional means. The way and the work of professional chefs overlap, but it is also an extension and promotion.
At present, the application of food modeling in China lies in the following aspects:

2. Print food advertisements
3. Food media and food books
4. High-end restaurants, hotel menus and posters
Although the above four classifications belong to food stylist's work application category, they are different in specific work content and work characteristics, and the skills and knowledge that food stylist needs to master are also far from each other. Few people are engaged in professional food designers in China. At present, food stylist, which can comprehensively do a variety of food modeling work, almost does not exist. Therefore, although they are all food stylists, the career development of each stylist is not consistent according to what they are good at.
