How to take photos of the meeting

As a photographer, you should arrive at the meeting place half an hour to one hour before the meeting sign-in time. During this time, you should be familiar with the site, debug the machine and take empty mirrors.

First preliminary preparation

Familiar with the venue:

1, according to the site environment, preselect the shooting position (panoramic view, middle view, close-up).

2. Be familiar with the location and lighting conditions of different venues.

3. Communicate the detailed meeting process with the meeting group (be sure to ask clearly if there is anything unclear).

4. If you have a group photo, you'd better choose the location in advance.

Debugging the machine:

1, mainly adjust iso, white balance and test shooting conditions according to the lighting conditions of the venue.

2. Set the camera to continuous shooting mode.

3. It is best to set the shooting format to raw for later adjustment.

4. Generally, indoor iso is set between 800- 1600. High iso is to ensure that the output of flash can be reduced as much as possible (reducing the output of flash is for quick callback).

5. Generally, I will set two sets of white balance during this time, so as to switch quickly during actual shooting. One is to manually adjust the color temperature without flashing and turning off the lights, and the other is to manually adjust the white balance with a gray card. (If automatic white balance is used to find that the color temperature is normal after the flash is turned on, only one set can be set. )

6. I am usually used to focusing on the center. If I really can't do the second composition, I'll come back and cut the picture. Anyway, this kind of conference photos generally don't use large output. For Canon's non-top fuselage, other focus points are not very trustworthy (5d3 should be good now).

7. Shooting conditions: I am usually used to putting the flash in the M position and jumping the light output 1/4 (in order to ensure continuous shooting to call back, it is best to provide external power supply for the flash if there is any).

8. The camera conditions depend on the situation, but at least the approximate conditions of using flash and not using flash should be tested separately, so as to make quick adjustment during later shooting. Don't set the shutter too low. If possible, you'd better narrow the aperture by one notch.

When the shutter speed and exposure cannot be guaranteed at the same time, the shutter speed should be guaranteed first. After all, the exposure can be adjusted later, and it is completely useless if it is empty.

Shoot an empty mirror:

1, mainly shooting the layout of conference-related themes, such as banners and exhibition boards.

2. In addition, you need to shoot the panoramic view of the venue, table cards, guide card, sign-in desk, etc.

3. If there is an awarding session, you need to take photos of the prizes.

The main purpose of shooting empty mirrors is to show the efforts of the conference group with images.

Second, you need to pay attention to signing in.

1, signing in for shooting is relatively simple.

2. The main thing is to shoot the sign-in screen of the participants, who have already signed the sign-in book.

3. If there is a special VIP lounge for leaders, it is necessary to take photos of the exchanges between leaders.

4. If you have time, you can take some photos of the participants exchanging in the meeting place.

5. Check-in shooting is mainly based on close-ups.

6. Precautions for shooting: Don't miss the leader's sign-in chart.

Third, we should pay attention to the meeting.

Leadership admission (if any)

Determine the route in advance, wait in front, shoot mainly in the middle, put the leader in the middle of the picture, set off by the surrounding participants, and pay attention to the interaction between the leader and the surrounding participants.

The leader sat down.

Important leaders each have a half-length close-up, and if possible, it is best to take pictures of table cards.

Meeting process

Each speaker's close-up, middle shot, panorama and middle shot need to contain elements that can express the content of the speech, such as backboard or ppt. If you just read the manuscript, it is usually good to take some photos on the stage. There is no need to play back too many photos to see the mouth shape and eyes. If it is a ready-made speech with rich body language, you can shoot more.

Participants, mainly in the middle and panoramic view, should at least have a clapping picture. If there are pictures that are particularly worth recording, they should also take close-ups, such as taking notes, taking photos with their mobile phones, and serious or beautiful girls. ...

During the tea break (if any), the empty mirror of refreshments prepared by the conference group and the communication map of the participants.

If there is a ppt at the scene, you may need to take several ppt pictures separately, because it is very likely that the exposure conditions of the characters and ppt pictures are difficult to be consistent. So if it's an important ppt, you need to shoot it separately, so that it can be combined with people's photos later.

Other shooting content depends on the progress of the meeting.

Precautions for shooting:

1. After the meeting starts, when crossing the front row, you'd better bend over and pass quickly.

2. When not taking pictures, stand on the side of the front row, which is convenient for the spokesman and the front row leaders to take pictures in time.

Don't stand in front for a long time. You can squat if you really need it.

4. When shooting the bust of the leader, you can remind the other person to look at the camera, but don't do this when shooting the spokesperson.

As soon as the speaker takes the stage, you'd better grab one at once to avoid reading the manuscript all the time. If so, he can only wait with his camera and ask for help. ...

6. When shooting a panoramic view, you generally don't need a flash.

7. Carry spare batteries and memory cards with you. Don't wait until they are really used up. When it's almost used up, you can always find a chance to put on a tripod. Photography is basically not needed. You may be able to use an empty mirror in the early stage and put it at the end when taking pictures. Anyway, we don't usually take that picture at work unless there are a lot of people taking pictures.

Finally, end your attention.

1, see if there is any need for a group photo.

2. Take photos and communicate after the meeting.

Pack your things, don't leave anything behind, especially don't lose your card! !

4. Send the contents of the card to the computer at the first time! !

5. Try not to delete the card content before the photo is handed in.
