Diary of Wuhan anti-epidemic-the hard work of Xinjiang medical team!

This article is my wife's diary in Wuhan. My wife belongs to a medical team in Xinjiang Autonomous Region. I hope the epidemic will end soon and all medical staff will go home safely! ? "Spring is here, and the hero can return."

Before you leave, shave all the hair around you. Protected, there will be no hair leaking out.

Come on, you'll come back safely.

The night will eventually pass? Brilliant sunshine will eventually light up this land? The fragrant and charming cherry rain will surely come as promised? We will take off our masks and stop panicking.

At three o'clock in the morning, under the night, the quiet streets of Wuhan.

At three o'clock in the morning, I got off the night shift upstairs and walked out of the hotel gate. The oncoming wind is chilling. Walking on the wet street, there are no pedestrians on the road, only the flashing traffic at night is waiting for us. The neon lights outside the window are still tirelessly telling the prosperity and loneliness of Wuhan, and truly feeling the real Wuhan ... It has been 25 days since I came to Wuhan, which is different from the nervousness and fear when I first entered the ward. Now I go to work every day. According to the epidemic situation, the director and the head nurse will constantly improve and update the procedures and responsibilities of admission, life care, condition observation, emergency treatment, psychological counseling, ward cleaning, terminal disinfection, discharge referral, personnel arrangement and material management in daily clinical practice.

People who don't know may think our isolation ward is terrible. In fact, we all work under strict standards and systems, and all operations are disinfected and protected according to standards. It's not terrible here ? Isolation wards are divided into clean areas, buffer areas and polluted areas, and consciously abide by the requirements of each area. Ward, medical staff wearing protective masks, goggles and protective clothing, isolation gown, the whole body wrapped up, adequate equipment to create the most stringent "armor" for themselves. This "armor" wraps me tightly inside. I always want to breathe in the air desperately, but I dare not breathe, otherwise the goggles will punish you with more fog. Team members always supervise and remind each other. No matter how boring it is, don't touch the mask and goggles with your hands. You must put up with itchy skin. Shoe covers and masks are dirty, so change them quickly. When entering and leaving the ward, you should avoid moving too fast and too fast, and be careful not to be scratched by chairs, stools and door handles. Try not to squat, even if you have to squat, you should use an ultra-slow speed, otherwise the moment you squat will become an inflatable baby, which may increase the risk of infection.

Wear protective equipment in the clean area of the ward

In the first few days, under the "armor", we looked for things entirely by hand and shape, and goggles were always foggy. When checking the doctor's advice, we look for all kinds of angles with clear sight from the corner of goggles, and wear four gloves to inject blood, feeling that our hands are as stupid as bear's paws. The needle tube package can't be opened, and even the tape head can't be touched. After the liquid is hung, hang the gloves on the infusion rack ...? After these 20 days, I have gradually got used to it. Do everything to calm down and tell yourself, don't worry, don't worry. The fog of goggles can't affect my operation under the treatment of various tricks. The speed of indwelling needle, blood drawing and blood gas examination is gradually increased from the initial 20 to 30 minutes to about 10 minutes, and sometimes even faster; Thank you very much to the sense control teacher who has been protecting us. When we change protective equipment, she always pays attention to our every move, nagging us again and again like her mother, so that we are no longer afraid and feel at ease. I also thank the team leader for his patient advice every day, urging us to supervise each other and always keep in mind the precautions.

Before entering the isolation area, the sense control teacher carefully examined us.

At first, every time I disinfected the patient's excrement, the pungent smell of urine and feces mixed with high-concentration disinfectant could make me sick for a day and even unable to eat any food. Now, we are very satisfied with these things. What we do is the triple work of nurses, nurses and health workers. Under protective clothing, we really need to take every breath so seriously and hard, not to mention the work that consumes physical strength every day. The fear of not being able to breathe is even worse. I feel that my brain is deprived of oxygen and my head and neck are higher. Sweat mixed with the fog on the blindfold, flowed down the cheeks and then dipped into the mouth. Wow ... it's salty ... the nose and cheeks are a little dull, but the thought of providing patients with a comfortable medical environment and helping them deal with this little detail of life is the best reward. I haven't stopped for hours. These days, I'm afraid that I'll pee into standard diapers and waste protective clothing. But I gradually found that wearing diapers was a bit wasteful, because the water I drank "evaporated" on the close-fitting surgical gown ... What I gained was that when I felt breathless, I seemed to slowly find out the "antidote", that is, I talked as little as possible, breathed evenly, made a slight adjustment in place, and then felt covered in blood.

Wear goggles after staying in the ward for two hours.

Nursing work is trivial and complicated, but there are countless problems we need to solve here, such as dirty beds, loose stools, and even turning over and hugging and changing sheets; Wake up, urge to take medicine, and open the window to inform that ventilation is needed; The ground is dirty and the table is too messy. Cleaning and disinfection must be a one-stop "fixed package"; If you are hungry and the food is cold, give three meals and microwave the food as needed; The thermos is empty, the cup is cold and the pot is boiling water. Don't worry, everyone must keep an unlimited refill; When the garbage is full and the wastebasket overflows, recycle the garbage, tie the bag tightly, and don't forget the double packaging. All the collectibles must be put in the designated place! These trifles of eating and drinking Lazarus will take up most of the time, and people who don't know may ask: Why? Why? Because this is an isolation ward, there are only two kinds of people coming in and out here: medical care and patients. At first, in the ward, we saw that many patients were under great pressure, depressed, irritable or confused and anxious in order to make a diagnosis. Encourage them to eat more rice, drink more milk, be patient, communicate with doctors in time, and feed back all kinds of information of patients. ? But later, the patient medical group established in the ward broke this bottleneck. If you have any questions, you can ask them directly in the WeChat group at the first time, and the medical staff will give you an answer in time. Timely, personalized, interactive, professional and authentic intra-group communication has greatly eliminated patients' confusion, eased their nervousness, established confidence in overcoming diseases, and won patients' trust and cooperation.

Four hours? All wet. It's no use getting wet. How can there be water? All evaporated.

We also get along well with our uncles, aunts, grandparents in the ward, and gradually get to know some of their hometown dialect, their eating habits, sleeping habits, and, of course, the types and usage of their oral drugs, so as to know fairly well. The patients in the ward gradually become cheerful and optimistic, and they can often hear the hearty laughter and the singing and dancing of aunts in the ward. To our relief, most of the critically ill patients in the ward are much better than when we first came. Some nucleic acid tests have changed from positive to negative several times in a row, and several patients have been discharged from the hospital, and everything is slowly improving. ? It is these patients who really touched us, gave us courage and warmed their hearts one by one, which is also the driving force of my efforts. When you hand over a cup of hot water, send a light meal or ask softly for comfort, you will hear "thank you" the most. Some patients will say, "Girl, are all your girls in Xinjiang so generous?" "Nurse, do you think my Xinjiang dance is standard?" "Nurse, it's very cold in Wuhan, so you should wear thicker clothes." "Nurse, when you leave the hospital, come to my aunt's house to make you an authentic Regan Noodles and make you tofu skin." Enthusiastic Wuhan people are really familiar with themselves, as the legend says. A few times, I was responsible for collecting throat swabs, because I had reviewed them many times. After explaining the purpose, the patient will block his mouth, put on a mask and, in many cases, be beaten.

Nurses will change, and now they will become door gods.

Grandpa of Bed 8, 82 years old, has Alzheimer's disease. Because my original department was Geriatrics Department, similar patients were taken care of a lot, so he is also the person I care about and cherish most in the ward. Grandpa doesn't talk much. At first, he refused to feed food and medicine. Now he has to cooperate with me with mirth. Bitter Chinese medicine has been tasted from the beginning, only a small cup, and now a big bag with a frown can be adhered to. Looking at the misty face through goggles, I was so sad that I burst into tears. I wonder who he thinks I am again. But I know that love comes from the heart, uncles and aunts, thank you! Grandpa, thank you, this one is worth remembering and thanking, which makes me feel that no matter how hard I work here and how much I pay, it is worthwhile to have the warmth you brought me! ? Because we care about and protect not only each and every one of you, but also thousands of families in Qian Qian, Qian Qian behind you, and this city that conveys hope and strength. Thinking of this, my physical discomfort seems to have vanished, and I just want to do more for them. These moments inspire us to do better and make us a loveless family in the quarantine area.

My daughter's graffiti made my mother more confident.

When I got off work, it was already early in the morning. After layers of disinfection, I finally took off my protective clothing and goggles, and the light reappeared in front of me. I took off my mask and breathed smoothly in an instant. Ha ha laugh ... the most precious thing was once ignored by us. Looking at the face disfigured by goggles and wrinkled hands in the mirror, the air was filled with the smell of disinfectant. After cleaning and disinfection step by step, the group partners quickly took turns to take a shower and change clothes and ran downstairs.

After work, the medical staff of Xinjiang Blue and Shandong Blue returned to the hotel by bus.

At the entrance of the hotel, the prepared disinfection sprayer turns around, rotates and lifts its feet ... tiny water drops fall on the body like perfume rain ... only then do you feel tired and your fingertips get cold. At that time, I went back to my room and ate a bowl of Regan Noodles, which was warm and cured. Looking at the hill-like materials on the cabinet, this is the result of being "fed" again and again. The surprise packages delivered to the door by the logistics teacher again and again always seem to tell us: Hey, girl, someone is always loving you silently! The logistics teacher who warms the heart and grasps the stomach, the hospital team who moistens things silently, the messages from relatives and friends who can't reply one by one on the screen of the mobile phone, the interesting and childlike graffiti of my daughter in the video, and the childish words filled with thoughts ... touching the softest place in my heart is the armor that makes me hesitate, and it is also my strongest and proudest backing.

"I" under my husband's brush

Just saw the official micro released by Wuhan University on WeChat? # Sakura #? In the video, the whole people enjoy the flowers in the cloud, without the hustle and bustle of the past, but the cherry blossoms are still open to the public in a low-key way, standing gracefully and uncontested on the branches. The group partner said that he had never seen cherry blossoms. I wonder if he could feel the cherry rain? It should be soon. You see, the rain has slightly infiltrated the buds and flowers, stripped the frosted flowers and old bark from the branches, and finely polished the gray and cold sky. The wind has also warmed up, the sun has begun to return to the north, and the footsteps of spring have quietly arrived! Little friends, wait patiently! When the epidemic subsides, let's go to see endless cherry blossoms, eat delicious Regan Noodles and spicy Zhou Heiya, shall we?

We who run counter to this storm will no longer be the original us. ? I only hope that you are safe, happy, free and open-minded in the distance. ? More willing, after the smoke clears, the spring is full of the earth, the mountains and rivers are safe, and the world is peaceful.
