Although it's not my first business trip to Xishuangbanna, it's been five years since I entered the tropical rain forest last time. So I didn't know I would be on this trip? I believe everyone has heard a lot about Xishuangbanna, but its full name is Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture (Xishuangbanna means 12,000 rice fields in Dai language, actually referring to 12 administrative regions in feudal times). Located at the southernmost tip of Yunnan Province, China, bordering Myanmar and Laos, this city has the only tropical rain forest nature reserve in China.

They said that as early as 2000, not many people knew about Pu 'er ancient tea, and the price at that time was 10 yuan/kg. After the whole team successfully passed the hard and slippery mountain road, we finally came to the end of the mountain road. At this time, everyone has to get off the bus and start hiking deep into the rainforest. Although I knew I had to climb mountains and wade, I was stumped by the first difficulty just after walking less than 500 meters. To enter the rainforest, we must cross a stream. Naturally, we don't want to get our shoes and pants wet, but after learning that we will cross N rivers in the future, we finally let go of our worries and regain the feeling of returning to nature.

Along the way, we saw all kinds of towering trees, and also saw the devil in the forest "strangle the banyan tree". The seeds of this banyan tree will fall from the sky with bird droppings, then take root and sprout in the soil, then surround the roots of the towering trees next to them, and then twine and grow, competing with the trees for nutrients in the soil and sunshine and space in the sky. Until the tree is finally strangled, it will eat the trunk of the other party as "food" (according to the tour guide, this banyan tree is terrible, and if it can't strangle the other party once, it will continue to grow more trunks until the other party is completely surrounded until the strangulation is successful), which is really like the plot of palace fighting in the plant kingdom.

There are all kinds of nameless insects in the forest, such as super giant mosquito, face spider, crab spider and so on. Anyway, we were all stunned by a group of city people. However, after we witnessed an ancient banyan tree with a history of 1400 years (below), we found that compared with the real "master" of the earth, we humans are really too small. It turns out that such a virgin forest is the true face of the earth.

At the second stop, we drove X5 to Pu 'er to explore the "tea source".
