How to take pictures of seascapes

One place you must go to in summer is the seaside. However, you should have discovered that overexposure often occurs when taking photos at the beach. Otherwise, the contrast between light and dark in the scene is too great to accurately highlight the exposure of the subject. Next, I would like to give some practical shooting tips to photographers who love to go to the beach. If the light at the beach is too strong, you can find a place with tree shade and shoot in the shadow; when shooting waves, use a lens of 1/500 second or more. High-speed shutter and continuous shooting function can capture the instant changes of the waves. What other shooting techniques are there? Please read on~

Shooting in the shadows

At noon when the light is strong, in order to avoid scattered light entering the lens directly. If possible, shoot while standing in the shadows. The photos taken in this way will have better contrast and the exposure will be more accurate.

Freeze the rolling waves

Set a high-speed shutter speed of more than 1/500 seconds and use the high-speed continuous shooting function to capture the instantaneous changes of the waves. When shooting, you can use a long lens to fill the frame with splashing waves, and shoot from a low angle to better express the momentum of the waves.

The extended coastline

Try to find the highest point, shoot from a bird's-eye view, and take advantage of the graceful extension of the coastline to bring your sight into the distance. The coastline can cause changes in visual focus, making the picture appear dynamic and imposing.
