The screening of Western Cinema is the first screening of a film in China. What time is it now? Where is the address?
In August 1896, 1 1, China people saw the film for the first time in "another village" in Xu Yuan. At this time, movies, a new thing, were staged in some entertainment variety shows, such as "Patterns", "Fireworks" and "Hu Wen". And the movie is not called a movie, it is called a "western movie". People sit in smoky teahouses or theaters and watch movies like Beijing Opera. In their eyes, western movies are really fantastic and unexpected. They were surprised to see that the Russian emperor went to Paris and the barbarians in the west executed people; Seeing Spaniards dancing, Indians holding sticks; Seeing girls playing in the pool, strong men hitting cars while the iron is hot ... everything is so strange. Around them, vendors are walking around selling food. They are drinking tea and cracking melon seeds. When they saw the wonderful place, they also shouted, "Good!" Eight years later, this kind of "western shadow play" submerged in the secular world actually entered the court of the Qing Dynasty. It was in 1904, the 70th birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi, and the British Ambassador to Beijing presented a movie projector and several sets of movies to the Empress Dowager Cixi for her birthday. The film was transported to the palace, and just after the third film was shown, the generator exploded, scaring Empress Dowager Cixi into a cold sweat, and the child was never allowed to enter Zijincheng again. Coincidentally, in the second year, the Qing government sent five ministers to study abroad. When he returned home, Duan Fang, one of the five ministers, couldn't resist the temptation to bring back a projector and play a movie at a banquet for Zaize, so that a judge named He Chaohua explained it next to him. In the middle of the performance, the projector suddenly exploded, killing He Chaohua and others. Western movies in the eyes of the upper class are novel and fun, but they are unlucky. However, in big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, the popularity of movies among ordinary people is increasing. The film has been shown in Dashilan Daguanlou outside Qianmen, Civilized Tea Garden in Xidan Market, Auspicious Theater in Dong 'an Market and Harmonious Theater in Xinfeng Market in Xicheng. In Shanghai, the Portuguese built the Aipu Road Cinema on Sichuan North Road, and the Spanish remus opened many cinemas in Shanghai, such as Shapak, Enpaiya, Kade and Wanguo. In order to promote their films and attract customers, filmmakers have good intentions. They hire people to carry billboards with simple sentences and eye-catching pictures through the streets; There is a drummer in a dress playing drums at the entrance of the screening room, which is very lively; From time to time, the boss ordered his men to open the curtain of the projection room to reveal the screen where the movie was being shown, which attracted pedestrians to stop. The magical scenery of western movies makes China people eager to try, and they have their own idea of making movies. 1in the autumn of 905, a photographer named Ren Qingtai bought a French-made hand-held camera and 14 roll of film from Chilov Foreign Firm, a German businessman, and started the initial attempt of China people to make movies. Ren Qingtai invited Tan Xinpei, the founder of Tan Pai, a famous Peking Opera actor, to perform Dingjun Mountain. This film has been shown in Beijing Dashilan Cinema, Jixiang Cinema and other cities, causing a sensation of "empty street". Dingjun Mountain is just a movie that puts the original Peking Opera on the screen. The first film that Zhongmin officially directed and started shooting should be 19 13, which was written by Zheng Qiuzheng and jointly directed by Zhang Shichuan. Trivia 1906 12.8, Quanxian Teahouse in Tianjin French Concession staged American movies one after another, and was renamed Quanxian Electric Theater soon. Since then, until the Qing dynasty, the park has been mainly performing movies. This may be called the first cinema in China, two years earlier than the known Hongkou Grand Theatre.
