Mei Sheng, director of China Photographers Association, is a scholar photographer. He studied fine arts and calligraphy since childhood, worked as a photojournalist, Art editor and academic column host for more than 20 years, and also worked as an art critic, music planner and visiting professor in art colleges. He is good at photography of humanities, geography, history and scenery. His photographs cover all provinces in China and more than 20 countries in the world. He has held personal photography exhibitions in the United Nations, French, Japanese, Singaporean and China 10 cities, and participated in more than 20 major international and domestic photography competitions and exhibitions in China as a photographer. In recent years, special attention has been paid to the establishment and arrangement of the "World Heritage Images" system, and a lot of photography and research work has been done on China's world heritage from the perspective of human culturology. In 2007, he was awarded the "World Heritage Promotion Award" by the World Heritage Foundation. He is good at thinking and diligent in creation, and has made a beneficial expansion to China's photography at the cultural depth level. He is a representative photographer in the field of photography in China.
