The decoder chip adopts the flagship DAC CS43 13 1 of Cirrus Logic Company of the United States. I have to mention a common misunderstanding in the market that CS43 13 1 is a lower-level chip than CS43 198. In fact, compared with CS43 13 1, CS43 198 has only one integrated amplifier circuit, and there is no change elsewhere, which can be confirmed by the indicators of two chips. Obviously, DX 170, a player type product, will definitely not use the integrated amplifier that comes with the DAC. Therefore, for DX 170, CS43 13 1 is actually CS43 198, and the DAC has not been downgraded and upgraded, but at the same level. DX 170 and DX 160 are identical in key audio indicators, such as output voltage, dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, etc. For example, DX 160 proudly achieved the nominal signal-to-noise ratio of the machine.

However, the biggest attraction is that the set-top box chip RK3368, which has been criticized by the industry for a long time, has finally been replaced.

DX 170 player adopts SoC RK3566, 4-core A55, 1.8GHz, and Ann Bunny runs at 65438+100000. Horizontally, similar competing products mainly use Qualcomm 430/425 as the master control, which makes DX 170 have the capital to stand out from the former.

However, we have to say that the upgrade of the master control can only be said to be unsatisfactory, and it can't reach the level of Snapdragon 660 that friends generally expect. However, after all, the price is limited, and it is difficult to achieve it in one step. However, this, from the side, is also the enough confidence of Alba Cable DX 170 in its own voice. After all, DX 160 is more extended when used, and it is not the only one on the market.

Compared with DX 160 (model 2020), DX 170 has many other minor improvements, such as upgrading the system to Android 1 1, returning the screen to Sharp's 5.0-inch 1080p full screen and replacing the knob with stainless steel integrated on/off.
