Xingtan Middle School is a complete middle school in Xingtan Town, Shunde District, Foshan City. The school was founded in 1958, and its location has changed several times. 1996 invested by the town government, donated by Hong Kong and Macao folks and all walks of life, and invested nearly 60 million yuan to build the first phase of the school project. In order to meet the needs of popularizing high school education, Xingtan Town People's Government invested about 20 million yuan to expand Xingtan Middle School in 2002. According to the standards of first-class schools in Guangdong Province, various rooms and dormitories were added, teaching and living facilities were improved, and various school equipment was provided. There are office buildings, teaching buildings, experimental buildings, libraries, indoor gymnasiums, auditoriums, student dormitories, student canteens and a standard sports ground with a 400-meter circular runway. In 2003, Xingtan Town People's Government invested another 6 million yuan to build a campus network, a geographical park and a biological park, of which the campus network alone invested nearly 4 million yuan, reaching the level that every classroom has a teaching platform and every teacher has a laptop. At present, the school covers an area of about 80,040 square meters, with a total construction area of 49,879 square meters, 48 classes, and more than 3 100 students.
