Art higher vocational (junior college) majors in Hunan colleges and universities outside the province, as well as art undergraduate majors in private universities and independent colleges, should directly use the provincial unified examination results. 1. Music and dance (the examination is carried out in accordance with the "Music Major Examination Syllabus for Admissions to General Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province" (Xiangjiao Kao Mingzi [2008] No. 3))
( 1) Exam subjects and scores
The examination subjects for music majors are the main subjects (the main subjects are divided into five categories: vocal music, dance, theoretical composition, piano, and instrumental music. Candidates can apply for any one category), sight-singing , ear training (written test), basic music theory (written test), and minor subjects. The full professional score is 300 points, with the main subject accounting for 60% of the total score and the other four subjects each accounting for 10% of the total score.
For candidates whose main subject is vocal music, the examination repertoire for the main subject must be selected from the "Regulations for the Vocal Music Examination for the Unified Examination for Music Majors Enrolled in General Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province" (published by Hunan Normal University Press); For dance candidates, the main subject examination content is basic skills and dance repertoire; for candidates whose main subject is theoretical composition, the main subject examination content consists of three parts: harmony, composition and piano, which account for 40% and 40% of the main subject examination score respectively. 45% and 15%. Candidates applying for music performance majors and dance majors must attend interviews. The interview mainly tests the candidate's image, temperament, height, basic professional skills and professional conditions, etc. The requirements are: (1) Good facial features, well-proportioned figure, and good temperament; (2) Candidates whose main subjects are vocal music and dance, the height of boys must be no less than 1.70 meters, girls should be no less than 1.60 meters tall. For candidates taking instrumental music and piano as the main subjects, boys should be no less than 1.68 meters tall, and girls should be no less than 1.58 meters in height; (3) Basic professional skills and professional conditions must meet the requirements of the major you are applying for. Specify requirements. Interviews will only count for pass or fail. Those who fail the interview cannot apply for music performance majors and dance majors.
Hunan Normal University’s preschool education major recruits students from candidates who have passed the unified examination for music majors in the province. During admission, the minimum admission control score for culture and majors is separately determined based on the candidates’ wishes.
