Growing Education

The film is adapted from the memoirs of British Sunday Times reporter Lynn Barber. In 1961, a 16-year-old girl Jenny (Carey Mulligan) never tires of her parents repeatedly urging her to learn Latin and get into Oxford. However, the boy who is pursuing her does not bother her. Father Jack (Alfred Molina) is satisfied. One rainy day, Jenny meets David (Peter Sarsgaard), a mature man. Jenny is deeply attracted by his suave and charming temperament. David and his friends continued to take Jenny to high-end bars, art auction houses and high-end restaurants, and even persuaded Jenny's parents to take her to visit her dream Paris. Jenny quickly fell in love amidst the feasting and feasting, but unfortunately the truth was not as beautiful as she dreamed... The film won the Audience Choice Award and Photography Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, and was nominated for the Feature Film Jury

Grand Prize, and was nominated for the 2009 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress (Carey Mulligan) and three Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Actress (Carey Mulligan) and Best Adapted Screenplay.
