What is the camera m file and how to use it?

The M mode means a fully manual mode. You can manually adjust the aperture and shutter speed, and the ISO sensitivity can also be set manually. How to use it:

1. Shutter speed.

As the name suggests, it controls the length of time that light enters the CMOS. In a SLR camera, the shutter speed can be adjusted through the Tv file or M file. Generally, SLR cameras will support the range of 1/4000~30 seconds. High-end camera shutter speeds Up to 1/8000.

There is also a shutter mode called B. Bulb will be displayed on the camera. It is a shutter release method that is completely controlled by the photographer. The length of the shutter time is determined by the time from when the photographer presses the shutter to when it is released. It is determined by the length, so door B is also called "manual shutter".

The B door is very practical when shooting fireworks or painting light trails, because you don’t know the actual shutter speed, and the B door solves this problem very well.

2. Aperture.

The aperture is composed of several small blades in the lens. It is used to control the amount of light passing through. Each time it is increased or decreased by one stop, the exposure will be doubled or halved. Aperture size is expressed by F number. The smaller the value, the larger the aperture diameter.

On the contrary, the larger the value, the smaller the aperture. Its function is to change the depth of field. The smaller the value, the shallower the depth of field. The larger the value, the deeper the depth of field. In actual shooting, we need to adjust the aperture size according to our own needs to achieve the desired background blur effect.

3. ISO sensitivity.

A performance indicator that is more important in the digital age. When the picture taken by your shutter and aperture combination is relatively dark, you should consider increasing the ISO sensitivity at this time.
