[Edit this paragraph] Summary

A father wanted to transfer his daughter to another hospital for treatment, but he was accidentally trapped while taking the elevator. When the elevator door opened again, the hospital was not what it used to be. They saw the body inside and met an unknown monster. ...

Selective analysis

It's hard to understand its real content after reading it (including the following spoiler)

After the story begins, the little girl Sarah's heart becomes dark because of all kinds of people around her. The hospital in the later movies is actually the dark and painful inner world of the little girl Sarah in the hospital. Sarah wanted to save herself and chose those people to fight with her.

Emily, the nurse, and Rick, the security guard, may both be the kind of people who once appeared in the little girl Sarah's life.

Long-term illness is that Sarah often deals with hospitals, and doctors and nurses are the most exposed. Emily is the symbol of these medical staff. Sarah hates illness. Long-term illness makes her dislike hospitals. She doesn't like nurses. She just wants to go home. A sense of disgust for medical staff arises spontaneously.

On the other hand, Rick symbolizes a powerful class in life. They are usually the leaders of a large or small group, or have absolute command at some time. For example, the stronger children who play with Sarah are also rejected by Sarah.

John is a typical selfish person. In the movie, he repeatedly showed that he regarded others as a burden and wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. In reality, this selfishness can be seen everywhere. This selfishness is disgusting to Sarah.

Old people in tobias actually represent the kind of "living dead". Things and experiences in life finally made them tired of the world. Worldweariness made him ignored like those walking monsters.

But with the development of the plot, their behavior in Sarah's inner space made this disgust disappear invisibly.

When Rick died to protect everyone, Sarah felt powerful and often accompanied by responsibility.

When Emily's leg was scratched and Ben was asked to take Sarah away first, Sarah realized that medical staff didn't just work, and many of them did treat patients as relatives.

Tobias and the monster mutually assured destruction, indicating that they are not static. Such people sometimes suddenly realize that this kind of life is actually wrong one day.

Johns is not so lucky. He died, too, but I'm afraid he won't be understood.

Those monsters, they just represent the dark side of human nature. There are five monsters in a * * *:

The monster that bit John's foot in the elevator was his own shadow. The selfishness he represents embodies his style of abandoning all burdens in times of crisis. Because of selfishness, he will try his best to be a burden to others when he is desperate, hoping that others will not abandon himself. Judging from the fact that the monster bit JOHNS' foot, it is not contradictory to want him to stay in the elevator. Once others don't dislike them, when there is another crisis, of course they want to kill others with their own interests first.

The monsters that hit the wall symbolize the dark side of security guards (powerful people), and their absolute rights make them inseparable from violence. This kind of violence not only disgusted Sarah, but also deeply frightened her, so before this monster appeared, she would have a scared expression.

The ghost scream symbolizes Emily. This monster appeared on the door glass from the beginning, corresponding to Emily's face on the door glass when she was trapped in B 1 morgue. The monster screamed loudly, but didn't hurt anyone except Emily, but finally scratched Emily herself. Maybe it's Emily's personality. She is actually a very kind person. It is precisely because of such a person that when she encounters problems (such as marriage failure, such as the death of a patient), he will first blame himself. This sense of responsibility made her subconsciously feel sorry for others, especially those patients who were unable to save and died. After all, the world is not perfect, and such great kindness can only cause harm to yourself.

Sandman symbolizes the old man tobias, corresponding to the old man's world-weariness. Those unlucky things are scattered like sand and can't be recalled, but they have changed people's mentality and finally caused great chain damage. ...

The last demon king symbolizes Sarah herself. Because this dark space is Sarah's inner world, and she is the master of this world. It is for this reason that she appears as the embodiment of those things she hates (monsters), and her bitter eyes can make monsters stay away. At the beginning of the movie, although Sarah kept saying that she wanted red crayons, all his paintings were sketched with black crayons, and everything in black was hard to recognize. It's like a drawing board with only black crayons on it. Just like the last wave of the devil's hand, a piece of black rushes out to corrode and devour what it touches, even those dark sides of black are swallowed up, just like a floor painted with black paint.

Sarah's dark inner world has gradually disintegrated with the progress of the film. The "death" of people here is not death, but "moving out" from Sarah's dark inner world. When all the "people" were removed, her inner world was completely changed! Before entering the elevator, Sarah met tobias in the machine and said, "I want a red crayon". The strong color of red exposed people's shortcomings, so after she finished painting, she took the red crayon and circled counterclockwise, actually walking counterclockwise, returning to her dark inner world with the head of the people around her, smearing it with black crayons like the devil's black floor, clearing away the darkness and swallowing it, thus achieving change.

In the last part, her father Ben let Sarah out of the car. Sarah finally understood her father's love for herself and even said what her father wanted to say but hadn't said yet. She eliminated her disgust that her father locked her up in the hospital and prevented her from leading a normal life, perhaps it was an aversion that did not exist from the beginning. Sarah realized her father's responsibility and concern. Then Ben got on the bus. He thought that if he killed the demon king, everything would be over and the world would return to normal. Naturally someone will find the little girl in the parking lot and take her away. When he drove his car to the devil with the heart of death, the darkness in Sarah's heart had been completely eliminated and the bright side had appeared. She said to her dark side, "Now you know that light should not exist in darkness." After that, her dark inner world ceased to exist, although she could not bear to see her father killed by the devil. Look on the bright side in the future! Only in this way can we really change our world. Those chosen people either conquered their dark side or were killed by their dark side, but they all disappeared from Sarah's dark inner world.

At the end of the film, Sarah shouted the color opposite to red-"I want blue crayons!" " "Then draw a circle clockwise (look on the bright side in the future! ), a bright inner world laid a good foundation. Tobias is here again. Tell him it's not cold anymore. Yes, he came to his senses.

When her father pushed her in the corridor of the hospital, many people in the surrounding crowd looked at them with concern, which corresponds to the neglect of them walking in the corridor at the beginning of the film. I believe Sarah will recover gradually from her illness soon, and she will face a brand-new world full of light, love and hope with an optimistic and positive attitude! Not the dark world of all black floors!
