The entrance of xiaomeisha plank road is between two beaches in Dameisha. It takes 20 minutes to ride from Dameisha to the entrance of xiaomeisha plank road.

The end of xiaomeisha plank road does not lead to xiaomeisha Beach. Take the nearby stairs (10 minute walk) to the entrance of xiaomeisha Beach. You need a ticket to the beach. Go straight ahead without going in, and you will pass a public toilet. Further on is the parking lot.

After passing the xiaomeisha parking lot, ride forward (all the way up the slope) for about 15 minutes, and you will reach the entrance of Beizaijiao plank road, and walk on the plank road for 40 minutes to reach Beizaijiao lighthouse.

It is recommended to arrive at the entrance of Beizaijiao plank road before 5 pm. There is only one floor lamp on this plank road, and the light is very dim, so you can't see the road clearly after dark.
