In my opinion, photography has several functions: self-entertainment hobby, professional record, expression of artistic creation and expression of social responsibility. But if the photographer only takes pictures to cater to the taste of the judges and only takes pictures to win the prize, then the authenticity of photography will be lost. Pure photography is used to record history, express truth, goodness and beauty, reveal ugliness, and arouse people's attention or thinking or even action ... But what people talk about most in the photography circle now is not humanistic care, but "the level of bonuses" and other things. Photography exhibitions and festivals in various names are no longer simply exchanges to improve skills and increase knowledge, but have become commercial speculation for some people's economic interests. I have made the same initiative on different occasions. Today, I still want to solemnly write down this initiative here: be kind to nature, land, people and art, protect our mother earth with the actions of every photographer, and restore the purity of photography art!
