Nianhu Lake is a black-necked crane nature reserve, located at the junction of Huize County in Zhaotong and Da Qiao Township in Qujing. It was originally an obscure town on the Yunnan Plateau. Later, a dam was built here and it was named Yuejin Reservoir.

Most of the meals and accommodations by the lake are concentrated in Yangmei Mountain, which is a bit like a farmhouse.
