ULV is the abbreviation of La Verne University. Founded in 189 1, it is one of the oldest national universities in the western United States with a history of over 125 years. Its predecessor was the Lozberg College founded by the church. 19 17, the Lozberg agricultural community was renamed Lavin, and the college became Lavin College. 1977, the college was officially renamed La Verne University.
