Eason Chan specially invited Lin Weizhe to serve as the album producer, and Tanya Chua, Fan Xiaoxuan, Xiao An, Li Yuhuan, Soda Green and others joined the creative team. Eason Chan also composed a song in the album, and the album will also be the first Released Taiwanese songs.

Because the recording studios for the album in Taiwan and Hong Kong are on the fifth floor, and singing is what makes Eason Chan happiest, so the album is named "Happiness on the Fifth Floor".

During the recording, Eason Chan also served as the album photographer, using his newly purchased Leica camera worth nearly one million yuan to turn scenes related to "5" into shooting subjects. These photos were eventually Included in the album's lyrics booklet.

On the first day of recording, producer Lin Weizhe invited a whole band to squeeze into the recording studio and conduct the first audition with Eason Chan. The whole process was without any pause, just like an impromptu concert. Setting the tone for the album; in the subsequent recording process, Eason Chan challenged not to change the original key of the demo, and the producer vowed to remove the original singer's color, only to completely and truly record Eason Chan's personal feelings. There are no restrictions on singing methods and no modification of recording equipment.
