Jiao Wai's old lens recommendation

Christmas is coming, the streets must be covered with small beads of light, and it's time to take pictures at night. Are you going to invite my sister to have a light dinner tonight?

When shooting the night light, the light is mainly taken as the background, which requires our lens to create a shallow depth of field. In addition, there are some requirements for aperture blades. Different numbers of diaphragm blades can transform the lens into different shapes. For example, if there are many blades, the lens will be a beautiful circle, and if there are six blades, it will be a hexagon.

But those original big aperture automatic portrait heads are too expensive. Fortunately, we still have so many old lenses to use. Photographer Mathieu Stern brought us three old shots. These lenses may not be easy to buy in China, but they are all cabbage prices abroad. The most expensive lens, PORST 50 mm f/1.2 Mathieu Stern, only cost 80 euros (about 625 yuan).

Let's take a look at the effects of these lenses.

These three lenses are respectively PORST 50MM F/ 1.2, MIR- 1B 37MM F/2.8, and KO- 140MM F/ 1.8.

Let's look at the head of PORST 50mm f/ 1.2. The photographer bought it for 80 euros (about 625 yuan). The large aperture ensures that it can shoot in low light, and the shallow depth of field can bring dazzling Jiao Wai lens.

However, one thing is that although this is a German brand lens, it is mostly branded, so the quality can only be said to be average. If the aperture is fully open, it will be very fleshy, but if the aperture is opened to 2.8, it may still produce good results.

The following photo was taken by another photographer with full aperture during the day.

The second lens is a Russian head, just like a large number of Russian imitation optical products, this lens can also be traced back to the source of a special X. This lens is copied on the basis of Carl Zeiss Jena's first wide-angle lens Flektogon 35mm/f2.8, and has been slightly modified.

The photographer bought it for only 30 euros (about RMB 230 yuan).

First, let's take a look at the light shot by this lens. The photographer did some DIY on this lens, removed the front mirror and installed it upside down, thus forming an explosive lens.

MIR- 1B is a later simplified version with a modified coating.

The third shot is a bit strange because it. . . It looks like a flashlight, and there is no focus ring!

It is also a Russian head with a long focal length and a large aperture. The photographer bought it for 40 euros (about RMB 3 12 yuan).

Because there is no focus ring, it takes a certain amount of hands-on ability to use this lens. You can DIY a focusing ring yourself.
