With a camera, will you travel?

This is an interesting question. In fact, even if you don’t take your photography equipment with you to a foreign country, you can still take it with you. Record the travel around you.

But in my opinion, nothing is more suitable for travel photography than a lens like 35mm or 50mm.

First, they are small and light, allowing you to carry them around for longer periods of time without fatigue.

Due to the simple structure of their internal lenses, prime lenses tend to capture very sharp images, something that is difficult to achieve with zoom lenses.

But most importantly, without zoom capabilities, prime lenses force you to consider every composition. You have to move around and find interesting ways to frame your subject, which is a great way to shoot while also improving your photography skills.

If you want a quick trip and only want to bring one lens, I would recommend 35mm or 50mm. Which one should you choose?

A 50mm prime lens is great for many subjects, but in a small space, especially when mounted on a frameless camera, a 50mm lens may be too large. It doesn’t matter which one we recommend specifically, because we know that they are all very good lenses. It depends on your own budget and your own needs.

A great way to further improve the quality of your photos is to add filters to your lenses. With a complete set of travel photography filters, you can adapt to a variety of travel photography situations.

But you don’t have to worry about them taking up a lot of space. A complete filter kit is just a small box and can be easily taken away in your bag.

For the complex environmental conditions of travel photography, you need to know how to choose the appropriate filter for the corresponding situation.

For me, the most important filter in my bag is a polarizer. That’s because it’s versatile and can bring you a lot of benefits.

First, polarizers can reduce glare from non-metallic surfaces. So when you're out shooting landscapes, a polarizer comes in handy if there's water in the photo.

In the picture above you can see that there is no bright light on the lake, which is exactly what you want!

Secondly, polarizers enhance the contrast of the sky, making the blue areas darker and making the white clouds stand out more beautifully in the background.

Finally, polarizers can help reduce smog in the atmosphere. This means that with polarized lenses, you can get a clearer view.

Just like sunglasses, which allow you to keep your eyes open longer in sunny conditions, neutral density filters can do the same thing for your camera. Like working with long exposures so you can create gorgeous, dynamic images like the one above.

Whether you want to blur the movement of water, capture the lights of passing cars, or accentuate the movement of clouds in the sky, these filters have you covered.

Having the Graduated Neutral Density filter means you can more easily control the dynamic range between bright skies and dark foregrounds when shooting landscapes. It also means you can spend more time Spend less time processing your photos and more time shooting while you're traveling!

Through the viewfinder or LCD monitor, move the filter up or down as needed until the desired sky darkens.
