If the fabric is rough, the light consumption angle can be smaller; If the texture is fine, the light angle can be enlarged. Backlight and side backlight are often used to emphasize that the outline of human body and fashion becomes a separate background, but the light ratio must be properly controlled, not too large, and the limit should be to keep the texture and color of the backlit fabric undistorted.

Clothing photography should also pay attention to the rhythm of the picture and the scheduling of the interest center. The main line, tone and color of people and clothing should alternate regularly to make the picture harmonious, vivid and not boring.

Rich and delicate midtones and soft scattered light are most suitable for describing fashion lines and textures, and are the most commonly used tones and light in clothing photography. Choosing hue according to the characteristics of clothing can increase the emotional color of photos. For example, a white women's fashion looks elegant and exquisite in a high-profile environment, and presents a vivid and distinctive temperament in a dark background. In other words, the fashion of the same style fabric will produce different emotional colors due to different shades, and photographers should take this into account when shooting.
